Would you consider this creepy?
So I usually text a good friend very late at night (11 PM ~ 12 AM ) trying to scare him and be funny at the same time. Something like "I know what you had for dinner" or "Look out your window, I'm outside your house using your wifi (:"
So last night I send out the message "boo i see u (:" at like 11:40 PM. Here's the catch, instead of sending the message to my friend, I accidentally send the message to all of my contacts somehow.
As a result, half of my friends think I'm creepy as hell. Just today, my friend told me she was sleeping when she got the text and it creeped the hell out of her.

you should have told them that it was an accident.
I'm of the opinion that if you can't even make a simple joke like that without weirding out your friends; they're probably not actual friends.
Eh, your friends are weird. For anyone I know, all it would take is an explanation that it was meant for one person as an inside joke and they'd laugh and poke fun like "you fail" or something. And this goes for if I were to do it, or they were to do it.
None of your friends can take a joke, moral of the story: get better friends
