If they gave out 10k NX, they would be losing 10$ every time some dude made a mule.

Therefore, if let's say 50k chars are somehow made. That's a half a million dollars that they lose.

I think they have specific conditions :-(

Now just why would Nexon just give you some reward for not doing anything?
There were probably conditions you didn't read
They can deny you rewards for playing on the same IP as another maplestory account

Where does it ever say to create a new account before this time period?

well, it's in the landing page but that's all there is to it, "Free 10K Maple Point".
So I don't get where the people get all the additional information.

Such as getting a new character to level 50 within this or that time period.

Unless you have some official source to prove it, don't go 'round spreading wrong information.

I think Nexon has much bigger problem like their servers and the ddos attacks rather then give 10k maple points to players where probably 90% of the people receiving the rewards are mules
