Cool trick to try at home
1. Grab a toothpick
2. Cover one eye (proof that it works)
3. [b]Pointing it up[/b], bring the toothpick as close as possible to whichever eye is still open
Even though it's directly in front of your eyeball taking up much of your viewing angle, I found it interesting that just by focusing on something farther away, you could still clearly see and even read some text [i]through[/i] the toothpick. It's like it wasn't even there

So we'll have three then?
You don't see through the toothpick you're just seeing through the other eye. So if you cover your right eye you're basically looking with your left eye.
The toothpick somehow ended in my peehole.
