Mm or Bm after Starforce?

I main a Marksman now but will Bowmaster be a better choice after the Starforce patch? Bowmasters are getting better damage, hurricane moving from 3rd to 4th and also it hits 2 lines instead of one.
I would boss more and a recent DPS chart shows MM all the way down the list
Help me decide please

Bm if you want to kill stuff fast and do it efficiently otherwise stay with MM if you like the gameplay and just care about being able to boss and not about how fast you do it.

If you don't cap on physical resist bosses, changing to a BM for damage reasons won't make you that much better a Bosser, if at all.
If you never beat a CRA boss, changing to a BM or any class for damage reasons, will not make you magically have a shot now.

If the above does not apply to you, then yes, changing to a BM MIGHT yield better performance results in bossing.
If one of the above applies to you, start looking at fun reasons instead of damage reasons.

Stop being silly, bm vs mm threads belong on the first page of the bowmen section

Clearly you need to learn before you speak. DPS and DPM are THE SAME, except DPM is 60x DPS. Its a RATE so it's taken over an average amount of time.
Clearly you could learn how to be a little more considerate towards others.. Dps is damage per second while dpm is damage per minute.

There is a difference actually so clearly YOU were the misinformed one. DPM charts calculate maximum damage potential given all skills are properly set up for a minute. DPM charts assume that there is no cap and do not take funding into consideration.

DPS charts focus more so on hits per second. Classes that require skills to be set up for optimal damage fair a bit worse overall on a realistic dps chart while classes that can consistantly spam a fast skill fair better given you compare the second of damage. Most DPS charts are not entirely accurate as they do not account for set up time (some skills take more than a second to be at optimal damage).

If anything, those charts are not even realistic as in most situations optimal damage is not consistent. On top of that, dpm charts do not account for cap damage or variation in funding. A class that has high dps because of their consistent hits per second can solo dojo with the fastest time. A zero who is on top of most DPM charts does NOT have the most hits per second but rather hits the hardest with the most minimal amount of funding. therefore while a zero has top tier dpm, you never see a zero out do say a phantom or nightwalker on dojo times. There's your difference

Switch if you care so much about damage charts.

Just seeing it in the bottom of the food chain means to not give up hope... If they were top before, they will be top again. Simple as that. If you stay with Marksman now, you will eventually get a revamp putting you back up at top xx.

Marksmen were never top 5 on any dps chart as they have no hits per second. They were high up on the dpm charts because snipe has such a high % damage and it takes a lot less funding for a marksman to hit hard.

Bowmasters do get buffed quite a bit but to be good you really need a ton of funding. A 2 mil-2mil clean range on a bowmaster isn't nearly enough
MM are basically staying exactly the same... We're just getting left behind again while everyone else enjoys there nice buffs So if you play just for the damage than I'd go BM but If you like the play style of MM stick with it
