It's college. No one really cares what you do. You have all sorts of activism on campus.

Me and a bunch of Indian dudes ditched our orientation like 2/3 the way through to head back to where we were staying for the night and work on our schedules.
That experience right there probably set me up better for my college experience than the actual orientation itself.

At my orientation, some guy was just yelling at us. Something about school pride, then some random people went up and did gangnam style. Then he started jumping on chairs, and he asked me for a high five, and I was on the big screen since they were recording it. Then they made us get in partners with people we don't even know, and if you didn't they'd call you out on it. Screw orientation

I transferred to my school and have will have had two orientations by the time classes start: one I did two months ago, doing schedules and stuff; the other is the weekend after I move in, where they'll tell me about what there is to do on campus.
