Thief

Shad or Nl

Any thoughts on which I should choose? (From 1-100) Which ones faster at grinding? Which ones stronger?

Take me on a bossing run when you switch to a NL
What about in terms of attack speed? Like damage rate per second?
Night Lords are fast
Shads are not as slow anymore but still pretty slow. And their attacks hit huge
You only need ~90k range buffed to hit 1m per line with bstep

@CyborgSim: NL new SS is a really decent mobbing skill actually that you get third job, so after lvl 60 you should be able to mob effectively and thus do PQs just as well as a shadower assuming equal funding or whatever. Your still not going to be the strongest person in the party as a NL (unless its a crappy party) but you won't be the weakest by a long shot

Moderately Funded = Shadower
Very Funded = Night Lord
Not Funded = Don't play a thief class if you care about damage

Night lords are really weak until level 100. My NL was always the weakest member in PQs. A shadower who was also in my party could kill mobs so much more easily. This is pre-red, but i don't think much has changed this fact. After lvl 100, NL's get so much better at mobbing with showdown. Showdown also helps with exp/drop, as previously stated.

they're both really strong in both area right now, but shad's ME hits pretty much the entire map and so does NL's mark(but it requires you to hit a target first), so shads have a slight advantage in full map mobbing. training though, it really depends if you can 1 hit or 2 hits each mob, if you can 2 hit efficiently as a NL with showdown, the exp/drop increase will speed up your training. bossing wise, i would say shads...since nate is so OP atm + their survivability.
