thier is a flash back or some dialouge every 5 seconds during a fight
For some reason, all classrooms are on the perimeter of the building, allowing perfect placement for an outside window facing a cherry blossom tree which the protagonist stares at during class. Somehow, protagonist does not fail school even though the majority of their class time is spent staring at the aforementioned tree instead of paying attention.
