Unable to play
Hello guys !
So I have of recent started getting the following error : ngs update error 0xe0100405(-535821307) and I am unable to play at all. I can at most stay from 10 seconds to 2min online at once and crash with this error. I tried re-installing the game several times & using the new launcher system AND its repair button, nothing. I googled different solutions, but none seem to work (tried em all by now). At start re-installing worked until I logged out & the next log in kept giving me this error. Now even after re-installing nothing, insta crash, won't even let me stay in game anymore. Perhaps someone on basil has had this problem and has found a solution? Also saw this same/similiar problem on Nexons forums, the solution didn't work and was kinda not EXACTLY this one, but I regardless tried it.

It's been happening me since the last maint. The temp fix I found was to repair installation for the game to get rid of the 2 second d/c... but then it turns into NGS hacking thingy which d/cs me after a minute or so. So what I do is to just wait maybe 15-20 minutes to try to open it again. And it seems to work. But the next day it seems to happen all over again, so I guess rinse and repeat until Nexon fixes the problem..

OMG HI I'm near DC and I'm having the problem as well. I've tried using the Nexon Launcher as well as the Game Launcher and neither have worked 100% of the time.

We have noticed recently that this issue seems to be centered *MAINLY* around the NY Metropolitan Region. While it is affecting other areas, we are still working to confirm the exact cause. Thanks for all of your patience so far, I know it's not a fun experience.

@Artasi, I live in NY and I experienced the same problem.
Having this problem too, i've tried practically all solutions and the only one that works is constantly restarting your computer until you don't dc, then basically never log off

Having this same problem as well ever since the recent maintenance patch. Also living in northern US. I've tried reinstalling ms, playing through steam, etc. All are just temporary solutions atm.

HIya! Yeah I'm located in the US & NJ is the state. And on the name, this is an old account made YEARS ago to watch the drawings that flooded basil back then a lot more

Yeah this is a problem happening to many people now. It started for me 2 days ago, It happens on both a windows 10 and windows vista CPU for me. There is no perm fix for it atm but what I do is repair the installation like you said and sometimes it lets me stay on lol other than that you basically gotta keep logging in till it lets you stay on...
The only temporary solution is to constantly reboot your windows user account until you manage to stay online.
It usually takes me about 3 reboots everytime I want to play maplestory
Hopefully nexon will update their software by 2017

Works fine for me. Happens with unstable internet as well, if it's a laptop I'd take it elsewhere and try with a different connection.
I have this problem as well. Fixed (?) this by uninstalling completely, then installing via Steam and running gamelauncher from steam folder.
happened to me earlier today. I just attempted to get on until I could. did try to log onto a different char first though but iono if that changed anything
Well its probably just a problem with nexon. I just reformatted my computer and I'm still having this problem.

Nope, Windows 7 and Windows 8,1 (2 laptops, both got this problem)
