@jblz: yeah, I was pretty upset this morning after I patched too. I left and went to class and when I got home I was hoping that it would be fixed -- it wasn't.

wow seriously? that's like the only redeeming quality to new bam...

It was hard to play in general. The game was crashing over and over. Was able to test out my Battle Mage and Mechanic with a couple DIPQ runs... the changes are not too shabby.

Because they have to fix the problem.

its pretty expected now.
every patch that occurs, will usually end up with game not being up before the work day begins.
you'll return home from work for the game to be down undergoing maint. to repair things they should of tested before releasing the new content.
almost certain we will end up going to sleep before the fixes are done and applied.
we won't be able to try the new stuff until the end of tomorrow.

its worse when you have school and work and the only time you get to play maple gets thrown out the window.

Hahaha, the same happened to me but with uni.

Last night I found out that the maintenance was extended by four hours when it was 12 am my time ( roughly ), so then I went to sleep and woke up at 6am to patch it. I wanted to check it out more but I had university early in the morning, and travel is a ....yeah. I came home and yep, maitenance.

@jblz: oh well you should be happy your not trying to play right now with the inability to stay online for more then 30 seconds.

I've been out of Maple for awhile now but I hear this patch is a huge one. Traditionally huge patches always have a long maint. followed after due to hackers or some sort of thing they managed to screw up @_@.

nope he said that he had to leave for work right when the game came back up so he only had enough time to start patching it.
Im pretty sure MS will be back up right after i go to sleep.
