How to Run Maplestory Using Virtual Box
I want to run Maplestory on a Mac using Virtual Box (since the other much better options cost money to buy), and was wondering how to get past the "can't run on a virtual machine error" on this specific Virtual Machine. Thanks in advance!

@traitor: ya but have to buy a windows key for bootcamp, no iso file or anything. also i'd only use bootcamp if you have a 1tb mac or 512gb mac because you decide how much gb you want when your installing bootcamp because lets says you want 200gb on windows and the rest on mac, and you end up using more than 200gb, then you'd have to unistall bootcamp with all the application and files just for more gb
@rachelll VMware player is free for windows
@mdisback yea ik I've used the trial
@allconditions I don't feel like shelling out $79 dollars for parallels unless virtual box absolutely does not work
bootcamp is free
@juniormage
psh.. $79.. u can pay with ur heart and in the meantime
do what u gotta do
To add onto getting an ISO, windows 10 technical preview is free, and runs MS [as well as all other applications i've used] perfectly fine (only thing to note is sometimes when the game closes, your mouse stops responding and has to be re-plugged in).
VMware is easier than virtualbox imo D:
@rachelll I PM'd you on how one might obtain a license
@mdisback yea virtual box basically sucks
@juniormage: I tried virtual box but it didn't work for me so i just bought parallels
@juniormage
try VMware. Just need to download the trial from the main website and get a license (google is very useful )
You can download win7 and skip entering the license since you're only gonna be using this for maple
I run it through parallels just fine. It been working for the past 6 months. You just need a copy of an iso file which you can get from the internet and a copy of parallels
Sorry, I've never tried before, but are parallels just for running maples on a mac, or can I do it on windows as well? Because then i'll look into it
get parallels

This seems to work on parallels but not with virtual box
