show me yall Bm pride

as of late, it seems that the bowmaster community on basil has really gone downhill.
the BM subforum is like 90% p/cs on worthless bowman items, the other archers hate us because we're inferior, and the (buccaneers) hate us because we complain about it. well, maybe not. but you get the idea.

and every BM seems to be either:
-whining about how useless and weak and boring they are
-playing only because they're already funded for damage
-actually a marksman in disguise
-etc

any of you guys still actually play the damn class and enjoy it? sure we're no longer z0MGtoptierDPShurrrricanelol. but look at some of the other explorer branches, like dark knights/archmages/etc. they're not really best at anything anymore too, but they don't whine about it as much as we seem to. I hope..?

give me your awesomest sexiest BM fistbump... or not, in which case this thread goes unanswered.

My first ever maple character dates back to 2006 (IGM: KiLlSkYdILiv, not in display due some problems), I picked being a hunter out of nothing more than an impulsive liking for the class. Coming from that era of Maple story, being a hunter was a nightmare for most people, and it's not a class for the unfunded.

I was not discouraged by that though, playing through with a messed up AP (5 int 6 luk) and SP build, I still pushed through, merely because I wanna have fun and explore. For 3 years of playing, I hit a mere level 51. Pass 2008, I quitted...

Zoom back to 2011, after a 3 year break, I have friends come up to me saying that Maple has turned out a lot easier now. With that old urge and a little boredom, I resumed to my old hunter to find out 2 things:
1) Exp table reduced a lot.
2) I get my SP re-set =D No more messed up SP.

And long story short, I reached to my current level 151 as of now. Of course it's still slow considering today's standard, what the heck, I still keeping my principle of exploration and casual fun, except it's much easier to level up. (Considering I took 3 years for a mere 51, yet another 1 year to leap by a hundred)

Conclusion, I loved my hunter since the early days of Maple, and right till now, my enjoyment has only increased. =D

i just switched from drk to bm.
loving every moment of it so far, can see myself reaching 200 with this class !

I still love mine! There's just nothing to do after level 200 so I play other char's, but I've made my bowmaster my shop home just so I can see it every day

I love my BM, despite that the fact that we can't mob. I'm always finding myself hunting down a single spawned crocky/BW at LHC o.o
