Agreed with this guy for very similar reasons
either late-16th/early-17th century to coincide with shakespeare's theatre productions or at some point in the period ancient greece to coincide with the lives of sophocles/euripides and the dionysia festival

Either early 1940's so I could grow up in the 50's or early 70's to grow up in the 80's. Both are awesome decades
late 1980's, so I could enjoy my teenage years in the 90's.
1940 so id be 20ish in the 1960s (best years ever, and there was some sexy cars back then <3)
2050 so i can play anno 2070 and make fun of it
2080.
I'll take my chances with that comes.
