Current Ms reminds me Na Dfo before closure

Many aspects from current MS are pretty much identical to NA DFO before closure.

- There are many active bots but publisher doesn't care about it
- Economy is totally screwed. There is SUDDEN inflation going on due to low supply on items and high supply on in-game currency. In past 3months, MS has got 3 times inflated economy.
- The population is way lower than before
- Game barely gets updates (In terms of scale, not the frequency)

I'm not saying that Maple is going to shut down their service but the current state of the game is as awful as a dead game.

Nexon doesn't care what goes on in the game, as long as it doesn't cost them money. Some of these problems do cause a loss in money, but Nexon still gets that money, allowing it continue.

MS is Nexon's signature title, and despite all the problems you have listed, still rakes in the profits. MS won't be shutting down for at least a few more years.

Only difference is that nexon still makes money from it.

Goldbuying was a bigger deal since gold was directly required for upgrades whereas MS is more nx based (cubing)
The problem with DFO was that more currency was sent to the goldselling sites rather than to nexon
Of course heavy inflation is bad for the economy and the deflation is only happening in CSS/protection scrolls. Other items like gears, nx items, and usable items got highly inflated in overall. As I stated before, I am talking about the supplies from ACTUAL PLAYERS.

@Effectivs read the post. I never said the game is going to shut down but the current state is as bad as a dead game.
It may be "dead" but it's still going strong enough since it's still making money. LaTale is practically dead and still running strong.
@kinosira: You complain about heavy inflation being the problem in the economy and then immediately say botters are bad for the economy. Botters cause deflation with their high supply of items. Because of botters even unfunded people can afford CSS, protection scrolls etc... You can't have both, it has to be one or the other
MS is making so much money. They won't be shutting down for at least a few years. What else game do they have that makes the same or more money than MS? Nothing so if MS shuts down they will most likely go bankrupted. Dragon Nest and Vindictus or Mabi isn't going to keep there business going.

@Lecarde

Botters are terrible for the economy. It deflates the items yes but it inflates the mesos value. Which means ultimatly increase in prices for everyone. Since mesos are very easy to obtain now. People can put there prices up to whatever they choose to. Botters are only good at starting up an economy. If they last longer than that they ruin it.
A realist would get his facts right before making claims.
1. There is high supply due to the fact of the botters.
2. Recently there have been udpates weekly and events biweekly or so.
1. DFO also had high supply from botters. And high supply due to the bots is only harmful to the game economy. Now, MS got 3 times inflated economy in just past 3months. Do you really think this is normal? Also, I'm talking about supplies from ACTUAL PLAYERS.
2. Events should not be considered as game content updates. I am talking about update like Kritias or tower of OZ which happened about 3months ago.

1. DFO is coming back. xD..

2. Game barely gets updates..really? Really? DFO went 8 months without one event and one update, you guys have tons of events and Night Walker is coming out in like a week. Also poptag. An update everyyy 2-3 months with like 2 events?
