Should I choose MapleStory over friend?
I started Maple Story approximately 3 weeks ago with my friend. So of course, like the curious explorers that we were, we spent most of our first days going to as many places as possible. Our journey eventually led us to a map with a demon slayer botter. He was in 15 different channels on 5 adjacent maps, so there was an elite boss spawning every 2-5 minutes.
At the time, we didn't realize that leeching off botters is against Nexon's TOS, so we were making around 10b mesos a day. Right now, I have a 1.5m range thanks to the mesos I got from leeching off the botter. My friend has a 2m range already since he was more dedicated than I am.
The thing is, I feel guilty about what I did and I was considering making the secret map public. My days stalking the botter has shown me that almost everyone with a high range got there through illegitimate means. You have no idea how many famous maplers I've seen on this map leeching off the botter.
Anyway, I told my friend today that enough was enough and I was going to make a complete guide on how I made 200b in 2 weeks for only 2 hours of work each day. My friend got mad and said that our friendship would be over if I released the secret.
What should I do?

huh when elite bosses first came out, my friend leeched off botters for a while.
he was gaining 2b a day and he's only on for 4 hrs since he's only a middle schooler
200b per week is highly unlikely.
Do it for love
If you aren't a troll then prove it. SS the botter in different channels at the same time and take a SS of your range. Until then stop trying to troll
Isn't it your friend who has already chosen Maplestory over you? If he's willing to ruin your friendship for mesos, what friend is he?
@LeechingTo251 The thing is most of them were already super strong before elite bosses were introduced. If you were around a year ago you'd know that they were already above 2m-2m at that time. I have no idea why they would spend their time there but hey, to each their own.

I'm getting pissed off at my friend and all the "pros" who keep denying that they got to where they are through cheating. At least I admit it. They keep denying it even after I saw them sniping elite bosses from the botter.

Quite the shakespeare you are aren't you ? Well it is a disturbing matter, regardless. In all honesty, i would care much about leeching to 250, but leeching to 200. I would like to ignore what you have said, but as true of a person I am, I cannot. I live and play by the rules, as truthful as I am. I am not even a mere scammer, i just feel disturbed of having looked at such a beginner looting 200 bil.
As for flygon, would i ever be so happy to say that 450mil exceeds my belongings ? The society in this game is corrupt as well, the lionheart equips i am wearing are the result of terribly scrolled ones. Not to mention that the price of them has deflated considerably...

hes not though. as a person who used to farm elite bosses, which i would say a lot of people did and still do, its not possible to do that anymore. elite boss spawn every 3 hours to 3 and a half, depending on the elite mobs that spawn. if an elite healer spawns, the bot cant kill it,thus slowing down the progress. in case you didnt see his reply to my post, he ignored 75% of what i posted. if he were to get lucky, he would get 2 epic potents and 1 css 10%. thats 450m not including tax. but again, the bots are now smart, and for 2/3 bonus stages, where the items fall down, they auto track it and loot it. its just not possible.

I've been playing this game ever since 2007, never have I gotten to a single bil. I have mixed feelings when it comes to your situation, which i think as true, and a possible outcome. You have no idea how much pain i feel when you say such a thing. This is truly ashaming... I have no better word in my mind. This is just very disturbing.... I feel such hatred in the matter that i don't even feel like inserting an emoji here. What has happened to this game ? You joining in 3 weeks and getting 200bil ? That just doesn't seem fair.... It's fine. I now have enough damage to solo bosses now, so I can earn a stable income doing that.
3 chest limit don't matter. Elite bosses spawn every minute. Remember. 15 different channels on 5 adjacent maps. That's a total of 75 maps. The only change is that I need to spend an extra hour compared to before the nerf.
Also, this demon slayer bot has a lag. When the items are falling down, all you have to do is get to the top platform and have decent reflexes to snipe a purple chest. The mimic changes also benefit me, since the demon slayer bot can't snipe my loot.

your thread may have been believable before the elite boss nerf, where you could get a lot of "chest" items. but after the nerf,you can only get 3 chests and protection scrolls arent worth much anymore. most elite boss drops are worth no more than 250m. and 8/10 bots automatically track and loot the drops now. the only time that the bot does not auto loot is the chest one. but thats even more rare, of chests. think you should have toned it down to like 2-5 bil, then it would have been some what true.

Out of the active players 1m+ ranges, I'm sure I play the least. I play around 2-3 hours a day.
Other funded people get jealous that they had to spend money and lots of time getting to where they are. They usually say, "You're a liar" or "You should spend less time writing paragraphs on basil and go outside."
Sounds like bitterness. Took me a fraction of the time and $0 to get more damage than you with years of 8+ hours a day playing and thousands of dollars.
