Welcome to the East the farthest West I've ever been was Michigan :o driving in NYC is a pain, my aunt gave us her car because it's more of a pain to have one than to not have one.

Take the subway/buses! Residents pay a lot less for tolls

Man going to NYC with a car is a pain in the ass. When we went we couldn't find any parking and if we did it was so expensive. But our hotel was over in New Jersey. If you're staying at a hotel just leave the car there and take the subway or bus. And all that traffic is also a pain.

I've been to the east before it's great but my last experience wasn't so seized since I was so young.
