To the people who came back to maple
I gotta admit I never thought I'd come back to playing video games. I "quit" for six years and it's been a year I started playing again. I came back because of things not working out with my ex, who I was with for a pretty long time, needed to keep the mind busy. Why did you come back?

It begins with a thought, next thing you know you're knee-deep in old maple videos and also downloading the installer. Nostalgia always brings me back, but this time I've stayed longer than expected. Found old friends and new old friends.
Made a new account so I could enter a contest on the Maple forums. Initially I wasn't planning on playing, but I messed around in-game for 15 minutes, then I saw all the changes and loved everything, so I started playing again.
I went cold turkey before college, and didn't play for about 5 years. This summer I happened to look it up after an old MS friend kept dropping MS references -- it was the nostalgia that brought me back. But times have changed...
i came back last year out of curiosity--quit within a month. this year was out of boredom, i was talked into playing, and i wanted to make cool avatars. it's a decent distraction i guess.
Cuz nexon kept giving me free maple pts and gifts. <3

I've quit a few times. I always come back because I enjoy the 2D graphics and he gameplay. I don't enjoy the p2w, but it's slowly getting better. It's a side game for me atm.
I played from 2005 to 2009 without any breaks, played casually from 2010 to 2011, quit (without even logging in once) for about 4 years, then came back in April 2015.
I started maple roughly 10 years ago and quit for the most part once college started (a few years ago). Now I'm getting ready to start a graduate program, which I had to quit my job and relocate for with my fiance. She travels a lot and I'm only working part time for the summer, so I started playing again to kill some time before classes start.

Broke up with my ex a few months ago and needed to occupy myself with something. I get ya.
I "quit for good" multiple times until 14-15 months later when I "check to see what's new" and then another month later I get really bored one day and start playing again. It's a cycle
You leave only to later come back.
i take long breaks but only come back when i'm not busy with school and other things.
