My parents
They don't want me to vape because they don't know anything about it and think that it's basically smoking cigarettes.
I told them that it's not actual smoke, it's water vapor.
They also think that I'm wasting my money on this stuff, but I mean at least I'm not wasting my money on more NX.
They're very conservative and vaping is an interest/hobby/passion of mine, so wot do.
My e-juices all have 0-3 mg of nicotine, as opposed to most people who use use 12 mg or higher.
Yes am very much into vaping.

You vape but keep it a secret from your parents. Done.
I vape instead of smoking now. It might have saved my life. It did not save me money. It is probably not healthy.
You do you tho
@babysarefood: oh please cut the crap. No one really gives a damn. It is still bad for you. Inhaling a byproduct of a plastic sounds so refreshing.
When you compare foods with antioxidants to junk food the answer is obvious; you know it all.
@damian2o9: Please just stop. You are a fool. As if large cooperation care at all about our health. Simple research is all that is needed to find out PG is a plastic compound. Propylene glycol is produced from propylene oxide which is a plastic compound.
anybody that has studied organic chemistry knows that just because something is derived from another compound, it doesn't mean that they have remotely the same properties. the origin of a compound does not matter so much as its structure. people that knee jerk against stuff like plastics fall within the same category as those that believe that any food with antioxidants is automatically good for you.
Can I be completely honest with you, as I see old middle school friends and the more people I meet that have gotten into vaping. I see that vaping is becoming a foolish trend because obviously you spending 10 dollars every 2 weeks or every week on juice or maybe even more won't seem like much. But as you count the weeks and add it all up it's a complete waste. Also the juice that you are inhaling every time or "water vapor" can cause pneumonia. The juice gets stuck to your alveoli and that are air filled sacs, and if they can't stay open due to the surfactant not being there. I know this because I did a project on it for physiology. Or just lungs really, and honestly it doesn't matter if you go 0mg or 3mg, nicotine is nicotine... Soon you're either going to step up the dosage or just have to take constant breaks because you're going to need so much more. My friend snapchats me from the bathroom at school because he has to take a vape break almost every period.
Just think it through, you're probably set on it, and don't get me wrong this isn't some, "It'll destroy your life," lecture. It's just my opinion, it's going to die out soon as something "cooler" comes out anyway, it's just an investment that isn't worth it.
The one argument I really hate hearing people use is its a waste of money. Let me start off by saying I do not cape and I personally think its not worth it (for me) but that's just my opinion. When people say its a waste of money I just laugh because if they get enjoy out of it it's not a "waste" to them. Does it neccesarrily help them? Maybe (stress/kicking cigs idk) maybe not. But it's their money. $10 a week or two is basically nothing especially if you have a job. I spend $7 each day on a hoagie and a Gatorade on my way home from work. Is that a waste? Sure you can say it is because I'm eating dinner later but to me I enjoy it as a daily routine and don't mind spending that cash on something that'll only satisfy me for what 10 minutes at most? Point is saying something is a waste of money when the person is enjoying it is a stupid narrow-minded statement if you're not the person. Again I do not support vaping and don't intend on ever doing it. I've got friends who do it and I will not allow them to cape in my house. Idc what they say either go outside and do it or you can leave if you don't want to be respectful.
@xdarkshynobi: LMAOOOOO. Not sure where you're getting these "facts" but no where does it say PG is a compound derived from plastic. A quick google search of "Propylene glycol" will lead you to numerous sources where it is actually derived from. PG has been used for years for various food, drink products, many of the things we use daily and E-Juice. Let me restate this for you, just because PG is used in various "dangerous" products, it does not mean it is unsafe. Unless this is a misunderstanding, I have no idea where you're coming from bro.
. .
you don't tell your parents, that's what you do.

is this eenrite or am i mistaken ?
Vaping is lame AF. Save your money for something else.
Especially if you aren't even using it to cut back on smoking...
dont do drugs, smoke money treez
@xdarkshynobi: One second it's anti freeze, next it's plastic. Get yo ass outta here boi with your inconsistent arguments.
O.o it's both. DUH. PG is a compound derived from plastic which is used in antifreeze. Do I need to spood feed you?
@xdarkshynobi: One second it's anti freeze, next it's plastic. Get yo ass outta here boi with your inconsistent arguments.
@damian2o9: Keep inhaling that plastic. It's totally safe bro.
@xdarkshynobi your ignorance makes me laugh. Antifreeze CONTAINS PG, PG is NOT antifreeze. Oh yeah, let's not forget water is in antifreeze as well. Since we all drink water, we all are drinking antifreeze! oh noes. You listen to scare tactics and are the typical "I saw it online, it's real" type of person.
It's not safe wtf are people tellin you?
@damian2o9
@lilpyro991
@fenget
smoking dat antifreeze
@lilpyro991 There really are vaping competitions for clouds or for tricking; it's pretty neat. Not only does it help smokers quit, but it brings people together with a shared hobby. Vape life is a great life.
Traditional folks are hard to get through whenever it comes to anything smoke related. I'd just continue doing it, if it really bugs them to the extent where they'd physically take it, I'm not sure what I'd do at that point.
@migman1077 Bruh they really have adapters for wax and pure herb. Good investment
@setget your bro in law needs to chill fam. Blowing any type of smoke in someone's face is just wrong. What most vapers lack is vaping etiquette. You should still treat it like a cigarette when it comes to smoking with others around (public, at work, in your house with people who aren't comfortable with it) even though it is "safe." There are some signs in certain buildings that actually approve of vaping though!
They're worse than cigarettes cause they make you look like more of a tool.
People only see us as tools if we are constantly doing it in front of them. I keep it all to myself though, so I don't think I am anything like the "tools" who blow smoke in people's faces.
get the IPV3 or Segellei..best wattage ever <3 <3 <3
I have the gold Sigelei 100w plus and it is amazing.
BRUH. I get shtted on for vaping too. It's a great hobby, and all the common misconceptions of it being more harmful than cigarettes are complete BS. Vaping is a lifestyle, a great hobby, and the vaping community is huge. I vape 18 mg and it definitely help me quit cigarettes and many people I know choose it over cigarettes. Vaping tastes great, makes me feel less groggy than stoges and the clouds are just amazing. People don't understand that you can collect mods, some having different functions. There are all types of RDAs and Tanks you can choose from and that's what makes it not boring. You can get into tricking which is why I love vaping. It's not a waste of money if its your hobby. I actually don't put any money into maple anymore because I'd rather spend the spare cash on e-joos. I'm tired of people saying vaping isn't a hobby, there are so many things to do with vaping, rather than just simply sparking and smoking. For example, rebuilding coils is not an easy matter and is an art form.
What you do is continue to do it. I'm sure you're of legal age, correct? Find some way to convince them. What I used for my grandparents (very traditional folk) was telling them that it's a better alternative than cigarettes. Since I was already smoking them, they didn't care as long as I was off of them. Argue that it doesn't smell bad (it smells amazing), explain to them that the 4 ingredients aren't harmful (PG, VG, Nicotine, and flavoring), and explain to em you're passionate about it.
@LORDrakith 10/10 would recommend IPV3
Thank you for this.
Yes I am of legal age. I've tried everything you've said on my parents, but nothing works. They don't like the amazing smell, which is weird because I really wouldn't mind smelling sweet fruits every day.. I guess my folks are much more conservative/traditional, i.e. they also believe that I shouldn't do any of this stuff because I am a girl. I don't see how me being a girl changes anything tbh. They just don't get it.
And thank you to those who cleared up the fact that there are indeed vaping competitions.
honestly man if i had a vape i would put weed in that sh and just vape all day and chill
Thank you for all your inputs. Greatly appreciated!
@SirKibbleX2 I couldn't really think of a word for it other than hobby/passion/whatever, but let's just say that I very much enjoy it? Sorry if this just all sounds weird. I think it's definitely possible to be a better vaper than others, considering you can do tricks with the smoke and such while others can learn and practice. In a way it is kind of similar to being a better soccer player or singer, because you can practice. But of course there's no competitions for vape tricks, so I understand your point.
There are actually competitions for vaping.
OT: Vaping is not smoking like the president isn't Hitler. Just saying its better than the worse demon ever imagined really says nothing about it. It can still lead to cancer because its not just water vapor you're breathing in, there are chemicals in that water that are in regular cigs. Vaping hasn't been popular for a long enough time for scientist to run any long term studies like they have with smoking. I'm not saying not to vape or smoke, just be aware of the risks and don't do it in front of children. My brother in law vapes are argues with me all the time about how safe it is, he literally blows the smoke in my nephew's face, which I am not sure is child abuse or not since so little studies on the drug have been preformed.
Vaping is fo pussayz

420 4 life ayyyy lmao
I'd only understand if people use vap as a way to get out of smoking.
IDK how it can be a hobby/passion of yours, you can't be a better vap-er like you can be a better soccer player, or singer, or at that one game whether it be Chess or Team Fortress 2. Unless you tinker with the item, but that's just going into electronics, tinker with a computer or toy vehicles instead.
Seems to me it's like eating corn, no not growing corn, not collecting corn, just eating it. You can only eat it faster or slower, and eat different kinds, but that's it. Really can't improve on that, I don't think there's vaping competitions like hotdog eating competitions either.
Just go spend your money on NX. At least you can improve in Maplestory, at least your going SOMEWHERE, as pointless as it seems it's not as pointless as vaping for fun.
let me spit some knowledge,
There actually are vaping competitions, there are people that are considered better "vapers", and the vape community is huge. It has definitely become a hobby. Where I used to live the vape shop was a hangout, people from all over the county went out there. You can collect different Mods (tools of vape) and try different juices. It is fully a hobby lol
not that I don't think it's stupid however, I'm just saying it is a hobby lol
They're worse than cigarettes cause they make you look like more of a tool.
YOU ARE BREATHING TOXIC ALKALINE METALS AND CHEMICALS.
I laugh in your face. Water vapor? ya no. It obviously chemicals. What kind of water has that kind of viscosity.
people actually enjoy vaping lol wut
calm down boyz its not that bad for you
@RitoPls
That is all.
Vaping is such a stupid hobby.
Save up for alcohol. :^)
Thank you for all your inputs. Greatly appreciated!

Vaping is a waste of money. I dont' understand what is there to be passionate about Vaping?
However, if you want to continue it just do it. Buy it secretly.
Stop
Yup....
http://circ.ahajournals.org/content/129/19/1972.full
Well they're not wrong...it is a waste of money. Just like smoking, drinking alcohol...etc~ Sure, it may be nice for the literal minute, but you could instead spend your time on something that'll give back to you or improve your life/health instead of...that.
your parent are saving you. trust them
