The FC has been around way longer than the pirate class, and at this point I don't think it matters how long an "fcer" has been an "fcer" for anyway, the FC dies every year until spring/summer come around and the it dies down again, just like all of basil really

Superiority complex and attention. While I do rather like some of the older members, I don't really approve of their obsession with "bashing" and harsh criticisms. I don't find it necessary to insult someone's taste when they are asking for assistance. Then again, that might be the reason why nobody ever notices me around here. *cough

That being said I'm sure you and JuSong are both perfectly qualified to be judges
although if it were up to me I would bring back @aethynyc because she's awesome and I meezs her. Or @Heatless is okay too

Not that it should really be important, but I'm genuinely curious as to why should it matter who were the original regulars here.

Edit: I also wanted to point out a couple of things, both about potential bias in judges' ratings.
1. They shouldn't know whose avatar is whose, as you will be taking all submitted images and making them into one with no names on it. Anyone caught telling a judge which avatar was theirs should immediately be disqualified.
2. This is just a suggestion, but I had always liked the idea of Olympic style judging - eliminating the highest and lowest scores given to a competitor and averaging the rest so that in the event that someone gets away with cheating, the impact is not too huge. With 5~6 judges per round, it seems like a real possibility for this contest.

Do they do that for X-factor? Next Top Model? American Idol? No. They pick out people that know what the hell they are talking about. For sure, I can tell you that kid doesn't even know what BS4 means. Let alone how to rate an avatar with unbiased behavior. @SerratedSickle: No, Photoshop editing is not permitted, like someone else pointed out, it ruins the contest and gives those with photoshop an unfair advantage over those who don't have it

I don't think it should be. Color editing ruins the contest. And not everybody has photoshop.
