It's on Buzzfeed so oc it's important. I'm afraid of guns. Well, I'm afraid of being around guns, that's for sure, because when I went to Pakistan this summer, my cousin's driver picked me up and took me to his house. He had a gun in his car, which I understood since there are a lot of weird people that browse the streets at night so he has to be careful. The thing is, though, I sat on the passenger seat at the front and the gun was literally right next to my feet. I was shaking the whole time. Literally one of the most scary times of my life.

Lesson learned, never leave your gun loaded and not in a safe.
@shini: To an extent. I, too, am from Chicago. Just don't be an idiot or be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Things happen everywhere. Chicago just happens to be one of those higher populated areas with lower-income families and known gang activity. I am actually fine living in Chicago though I actually hate potholes/speed bumps/traffic cameras more but violence happens everywhere in general.
you gotta get used to the world. just be glad that you werent at the other end of the gun.
Yes it is a known statistic that by having a loaded gun in your house you or a family member are more likely to die from that same weapon than you are by someone breaking into your house and killing you.

I live on the southside of Chicago. And this is by far NOTHING new or horrifying. This LITERALLY happens everyday. There's even a website that documents every human being who dies EVERYDAY in chiraq due to violence and gang activity.
Did you know that there are gangs or people who literally conduct drive-by shootings daily JUST BECAUSE they have nothing better to do with there time. I mean people literally wake up in the morning and say "Hey im going to kill a bunch of innocent people They then loud their guns get in their cars and drive by random neighborhoods and start firing. This is a daily routine in Chiraq just as someone waking up every morning to eat breakfest or brush their teeth. I'm not exaggerating nor making this up.
Makes you think how in the hell the human population is as high as it is with these things going on.
