quotPerfectingquot Magnus?

Hi everyone. I've been trying to solo normal Magnus today, but have been unable to. One of the people in my alliance seems to think that even with my current range 214883~238758. That I should somehow be able to beat normal Magnus without even dying once. Is this even possible? Also, is there any specific strategies any of you would suggest?

yeap, i dunno if you can do it since i've never tackled the normal version, but be very careful with your sacrifice, a bad cast can leave you dead

Gonna need some insane luck to go deathless past the 50% health mark given the time it'll take you. Whoever is telling you to do a deathless solo doesn't seem to know the boss very well.

Hey Issac.

By now you probably figured out that certain mechanics of Magnus are simply unfair due to poor boss design.
Don't be greedy with your strikes and be sure to be moving constantly.

Take advantage of his "charge-up skills" and attack underneath or to the side of him while jumping.
Again, don't be greedy--if the stun gas or green OHKO attacks are in queue, just move off to the side and attack him afterwards when it's safer.

To avoid his super (cheap) knockback attack, Rush towards him. You'll take damage, but cancel the knockback.
Of course, be smart when doing this, making sure you have enough HP to survive, or not rushing into a meteor.

Try not to jump when unnecessary as his knockback skills can send you flying into a meteor.

Buff only vital skills. As a Hero I only cast Combo orbs, Enrage, and Booster.
If possible pet buffs will make your battle a hell of a lot easier.

Lastly, just keep trying. Practice makes perfect.
It took me about 5 runs before I could get the swing of things. Good luck mate
