You can't really generalize why everyone rude you come across is that way. Everyone who might be rude to you might have a situation going on or doesn't like to get bothered I would assume. I'm rude sometimes when someone random person trades me while I am scanning through the fm, and then they asked if i have any gear/meso for them or show me something I am not interested in, other times not so much.

They do it because they can. Maple's open for all ages so there will be some immature people. For the KSing part, if they KS you, KS them back until they leave.

Imo age is a big influence on all this. Maple has a wide various of ages this then differs between the people who are immaturity and the people who are mature.

Just making things clear... again... I'm not whinging and crying over how 1 person said something and then I had a mental breakdown and had to be hospitalised.

I'm just saying that I'm starting to get annoyed at the rising number of people being unnecessarily rude and I'm asking why they have to be like that.

I'm not some spoilt rich kid who has never seen mean people or felt hunger/pain. I've seen terrible (not exaggurating) people and I've seen how kind they can be. I know that nearly everybody is capable of being nice and although impossible, the maple community and the world would be a better place if we were kind to one another. Humans cannot win over our hunger for acceptance and some will do anything for it. Each person is brought up differently so we will all have different views, ethics and values but I've always wanted to know the values of a jerk. Maybe they're not as selfish as we all think, maybe some actually want to change the world into a better place but their methods differ from ours. Sadly I never really find out anything because they just spit in my face if I ask them .__.

Nobody is denying that's how the real world is they're and I are just saying that that is why human civilization is as it is. Totally understand =.= Just today alone while training my Phantom, I had two people ks me. Given, these areas were some of the more populated areas like golems and pepe at Mush Kingdom, but there are 19 other channels to choose from. So annoying to have someone come in and ks me while I'm trying to train. I usually just wait it out and then when I'm about to leave, I defame them. I can't stand it when people think they can just ks and get away with it. I'm going to sound like an old timer here, but back in my day, people actually respected one another. You ask them to get off your map and they would. And sometimes you didn't even need to ask. They would see you training and make the decision to leave themselves. Now you have to fight with them. A few levels ago, I was fighting mutant ribbon pigs on my Aran and someone came in and began to attack them all. She (or he >.&gt was even smug enough to ask to be invited to my party. When I declined and asked them politely to leave, they started attacking and ksing. So I defamed. They then proceeded to follow me to another channel and defamed me =.= I didn't deserve the defame, she (he) did. It's so annoying to see people on Maple these days being so lazy and inconsiderate that they can't press a few keys to move over one channel. Like I said, we have 19 other channels to choose from. I can't imagine how it would be if Kradia still had only 12 channels. Also, for the record, I can't stand it when 12-year-olds think they can smart off and act tough. That really grinds my gears =.= Sorry for the long comment xD I just needed to get that out It's about time someone addressed it.

You're taking it too personally. There are people who are naturally mean and abuse others for their own enjoyment. There will always be people like this in real life and in the online gaming community. And yes I'm a normal mapler who plays to have fun.

Actually, it party depends on you, and your socioeconomic situation; there are always places like that where you'll find a lot of insensitive and inconsiderate people but for the most part, for the larger majority, people are courteous and respectful, albeit sometimes fake and pretentious. Many of the people saying this is how the real world is might just be unfortunate to live in such a neighborhood and are surrounded by like-minded idiots. The guys and gals in the working world know that the major problem isn't with a lack of respect or kindness, no no not at all - it's with subtle social and workplace bullying and being taken advantage of, while not being able to do much about it.

@melonmel don't listen to these kiddies. They themselves have no clue what they're talking about. And with regards to your post and your thoughts, I understand where you're coming from; we all go through that on occasion in this game. Unfortunately part of the reason is most of them are adolescent or per-pubescent little jerks. Just ignore them.

If someone tries to is me I just cc unless there is no other cc, I ask them to cc and if they don't I go on my main or get a bunch of high level friends to ks them out.
I try to associate myself with nice people in maplestory, I just ignore the rude and immature people

Just get in a nice guild or find people who seem like kind chill people, there are a lot of them on Basil. Try to grind while talking with these people or just do bossing runs with your guildies. I try to just avoid all the maps that are mainstream because most jerks usually go there.

Well from reading the comments iv come to a conclusion, there are two types of opinon in this thread one saying that "why do people have to be jerks" and the other" because its the way life is "but id like to add is that some people have hard ships in life and these hard ships teach us to be who we are to this day and immature brats that play this game and troll and cuss are the results of poor character integrity and i agree melonmel that people dont have to be jerks to other people that they havent met or dont even know because for one this game has a community and if your not helping and making the game worse and even affecting other people in a negative way your just wasting your own time in advance
