Maply Parodies

One thing I love about following quest lines in Maple are the parodies of both fictional and non-fictional characters from other mediums. For instance, it seems to me that the student teacher in Friendstory was based off of Twilight. And Robby Fray, the chef in the now-defunct Kerning Square, was based off of chef Bobby Ray.

What ones have you noticed?

*shoot, title should have said "Maple"

I don't know if you remember Red Leaf High...They had a character called Hermoninny there. Dead ringer for Hermione Granger.
Also from the revamped Mushroom Empire, the mushroom clone of Mihile uses parody lines of Solaire of Astora from Dark Souls. For example:
Solaire: "If only I could be so grossly incandescent..."
Parody: "If only I could be so disgustingly phosperescant..."
or...
Solaire: "Jolly co-operation."
Parody: "Jovial collaboration."

I might have misquoted a bit, but those moments in that chapter of the questline are indeed parodies from Dark Souls... Must be a Sunbro in Nexon's writing staff...
Praise the Sun!

Oh, and one more recent one that made me laugh... anyone notice the login page advertising Mr. Lee's World Tour? Oldschool fighting gamers should notice the reference...

The Omega Sector has always been my favorite with the whole Mesoranger gang, plus Will Smith who is called Agent M I think? It's been awhile since I've been down there...
I was going to mention that, actually. =p
"Will Smith" is actually Agent Marco, not Agent M, if I remember correctly.

Anyways, one that I've noticed but have never heard anyone acknowledge involves a character who has been present in the game pretty much since the beginning.
Doofus, the pet supply seller in Henesys, is based upon the Duck Tales character Doofus.
Besides having the exact same name, they're rather fat guys with animal hats, blue clothing, red hankerchief tied around their neck, and thick rimmed glasses.

Yeah and there's also a line Anna says... something along the lines of "Do you wanna build a mushroom-man?"
