I loved watching every minute of that show. It was deep. Last semester, I was I in class and instead of paying attention, I was thinking about the plot, the chars, meanings, and symbolism in F:MA. The show also gave me a new appreciation of the 7 deadly sins(the lessons behind them). Idk how you could be having nightmares though.

Have you tried watching Clannad Afterstory before sleeping? I couldn't sleep because I ended up binging on it. Dad wakes me up at 2 PM and sees my room filled with wet tissues. THEY WERE FROM TEARS DAM***.
Every time I've seen anime it's creepy like Full Metal Alchemist. That's a MAJOR reason I don't watch it. It's just creepy stuff and it makes me uncomfortable.

I hope you're joking. I never watch horror movies because I hate being scared, but FMA didn't scare me at all and neither did a bunch of other anime that would probably be considered more scary.
