With MapleStory slowing down, it's natural that Basil slows down too. That is why I created bzl.co many months back and have been trying to get more Basilers to join up. If you like games, anime and art/illustration we have a lot of great folks sharing there, and we'd love to have you join too. If you remember the old OLD days of Basil, this is like that - that brand new community feels with no attitude. This is NOT a replacement for Basil, just a new place for you if you want to talk about something other than MS.
PLUS - you can very easily import your old Basil screens/videos (after joining, just add a link to your basilmarket id page, that's it), not to mention integration for Twitch, Youtube, Instagram and Soundcloud. It's a super simple way to have one place that shows all of your major online posts.

@benevolentia: yeah, it's a bit of a catch-22 atm - some ppl are scared off by the quiet. Others are lured in by that 'new community' smell, where attitudes are entirely positive. Stick around.

Is the mobile version very bare-bones? I can't see any option to import, or even update my profile picture or any profile details for that matter :S
Maple didn't really slow down, especially not for the past 6 months. Basil slowed down on its own.
