Sophomore Thesis
Hey guys! I'm looking for some advice concerning academics
So basically I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm currently taking Honors Humanities, which is an english/humanities class.
Well our final assessment is a project known as the Sophomore Thesis in which we pick any topic (art, literature, music, film), analyze it through a filter, and write a huge paper putting together all of our research to argue a point.
Anyways, I've chosen to write my thesis on Perfume by Patrick Suskind, but I'm not sure if this is a good choice or not.
So for those who have read it: How difficult was it for you to understand? Was it too boring? Too easy? Way too hard?
Any input is appreciated! The reason I'm looking for advice is because I don't want to pick Perfume only to realize that its too hard, and then not have enough time to pick a new topic.

@hangwithhung haha thanks! yeah i'm definitely not writing my essay based off basil opinions. i just wanted some preliminary reviews on the book
@fradddd oh don't worry you'll get stuff that's just as bad if not worse. sometimes adjunct faculty members just can't take their jobs seriously lol
OT: Haven't read it... best advice i can give is wiki it, read up on the author and their philosophy. then find some section of the book you understand and then: characterize elements in a new and innovative way, connect it to different things (but try and make it valid) and then draw some decent conclusion from it. I'm not the most well read person so I can't begin to tell you the first thing about it, let alone an opinion, but in terms of how to write the paper, that's all i can say. Hopefully you're not basing what you write on the opinions and responses of the basil community haha. i get the sense they're not always the most serious of people when it comes to school stuff.
