Opinion about violet cubes
Before people start freaking out about violet cubes, Id like people to remember that they do not tier up. So in terms of efficiency it will benefit people with legendary pot gears the most. Although this can be acquired through lots of cubes or time, the average unfounded player won't have many legendary gears and will still need to work to get his gears to legendary pot or unique which will take a long time if they are using mccs or Meisters/ and the occasional reward shop cubes. people will get more perfect gears but it will mostly be the already godly geared people who can fund themselves with boss drops/nx etc. A noob might be encouraged to spend nx now with the hope of perfecting a gear or two but I don't think it will make them want to buy all these cubes and turn into easystory when their gears are at bad tiers.
Tl dr: violet cubes will help those spending craploads of money/people with already established godly tiers. The common noob might spend nx but it probably won't help that much if his gear is the occasional unique/epic. I'm not supporting the introduction of the cubes, just my opinion on the violet cubes. What do y'all think about what I said?

@kingaustin: Uhm, after the Dojo getting nerfed and practically impossible to obtain, HQ Dim Gloves will be 2nd best in the game behind Tyrant gloves. They are as good as I can get right now
theyre exactly what i need for my kaiser. these cubes are going to make cubing for 2 lines of min crit on my gloves ezpz

@betaboi101: Ah that makes sense. I'm hoping they are going to become a permanent item, not because I can afford them, but because I am tired of Nexon introducing amazing items for a one time sale

Does anyone remember Potential Lock where you could "lock" 1 line of potential that you liked? The gap between non-nx spenders and nx spenders increased during that time. I remember specifically a friend of mine who used those potential locks and always bragged about his "perfect" equips while I was left to stare at my "nooby" equips that were once considered good before the potential lock. The same thing is going to happen with these new cubes. People with money to spend will easily obtain 27%+ equips while I'll be stuck with my 18%-21% equips because I can't afford to cube over those stats with the meister cubes that I craft.
I don't even hope for Nexon to remove these new cubes. I just wish that there could be other ways of obtaining them such as through rewards shop, event quests or crafting. But considering how stingy Nexon is with Bonus Cubes, I doubt they will make them available without the use of nx which makes it really frustrating for non-nx spenders.
This violet cube will roll in crazy amount of profit for Nexon because people will buy red/black cubesto tier up and then violet to finish off. So no reason for a greedy company like Nexon to make it a one time thing. Violet cubes, in my humble opinion, are here to stay. Honestly though, i like it because it will help me get my range fast and easier. Violet cubes will definitely shake the economy and make the game a definite p2w (as if it wasnt already). Unless they do some balancing update to nullify the effects of these potential stats, the game is gonna become much much easier from here on out

The cubes may be a permanent addition though if they were I can't imagine why Nexin would only do a one day sale for them. I think the sale is to test out the concept and if they make a lot off it they may eventually implement them or may keep them as one day sales a few weeks after miracle times to profit off of everyone that tiered up their equips and now want to cube for better potential. I mean in all fairness, the "sale price" is usually a fallacy because Nexin always "discounts" weekly permanent equips that are never sold in the first place meaning that the actual price has no relevance what so ever and that the sales price is the actual price
I view it similar to how some clothing stores may present on a price tag that a shirt is normally $40 but has been reduced to $15. That actual price of $40 means nothing since the shirt was never initially sold for that price to begin with. It's all part of some grandiose marketing scam to make consumers think they are saving significant amounts of money when in reality they are really just paying the regular price or even overpaying for such goods

I thought the sale was only 1 day, but the cubes were going to be a permanent addition. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense to "put them on sale" if this would be the only time they were going to be sold. There wouldn't be a regular price to discount at that point

Well, you don't get to KEEP your existing potential. What if it turns out bad?

Introductory may just be referring to the fact that it is the first time these cubes will be brought to the game. If they were meant to be implemented forever, I would imagine that they would have been made available as a permanent cs item that is always available instead of sold via a one day trial. But who knows, Nexin does crazy things, watch them try to release those TMS equips that up the cap to 100mil
I really like the concept. It will help me get my HQ Dim Gloves to a better potential for sure, but I'm kind of hesitant since they're pretty spendy. I mean black cubes tier up, and let you keep your old lines. Granted, you can't CHOOSE the exact lines, but for 3k NX (Not the discount price) I feel like that's a bit overpriced. The 2.5k I can deal with, so I more than likely will get a 10-stack, but if they go to 3k when they get released later, I won't be getting anymore.

I mean for all we know as the post below mentions, they can end up being like perma hyper tele rocks that were sold on several occasions then never introduced ever again. I would assume that they will put these types of cubes on sale a week or two after miracle time sales just to make the most money possible from a limited day release

They will be offered for one day but they stated it's an introductory sale. To my understanding it's being introduced permanently in the future.
