Skyrim What age to draw the line?
I saw a similar post in a thread that a 12 year old made asking if 12 year olds should be able to play shooting games so I decided to make this thread. So The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim I heard is a very good game and I would love to play it, but like the other TS, I'm 12. Downloading it on my PC without my parents knowing isn't an option, the current computer I'm using struggles to run a 2003 game. So I have a few questions:
Is Skyrim a good game and lives up to the hype?
In your opinion is Skyrim appropriate for a 12 year old and would it be worth a shot to ask?
If I could get Skyrim on a different PC are there any mods that remove the finishing moves and part of the blood? (If there was I might have a chance at getting the game)

3. there's most likely a no blood mod, but quite honestly any blood in the game is far from disturbing. you'll be fine.

@Deviched: I know my computer will explode on me, that's why I'd go on a different one in my house that isn't mine.

Alright thanks, that's why I was asking about the mods, taking out the main things that are frowned upon.
Well, I mean, if your parents don't want to expose you to violence even though you clearly have been then I'm not sure what you can do but respect their decision for now.

I googled the mods I'm looking for and came up with nothing that could help. I figured Basil has a lot of gamers that's why I asked here.
@gandalfail In terms of CoD vs. Skyrim I do believe Skyrim is the better game but my parents find blood, gore, and killing people (in Dark Brotherhood quests) to be absolutely unacceptable.
1. The Elder Scrolls games are very good.
2. There isn't a lot of (explicit) language in the game, and with all of the kids playing Call of Duty, Skyrim is nothing. I mean, slaying dragons isn't worse than shooting, right?
