Elestaves cant be upgraded into sweetywater staves

Elestaves can't be upgraded into sweetywater staves...

Such a shame for those mages who still use an elestaff and spent the time/effort to perfect it.

@AckarRed: Without upgrading when i said most classes..... LOL And 10% Total damage is pretty good too. All im saying if someone has All the RA/fafnir keeping your ele staff would be a decent idea to not waste alot of money on perfecting a new one.. Am I right? But by all means Sweet water set is sweet.
But at;east you get a 160 tier which is amazing, and something most Classes wont have o.o
Like I feel bad for people with fafnirs perfected to the top if you ask me and they wont be able to sell it Mages probably wont be switching... Except few I guess but definately something to look into but the new tier and it being tradable, and its elemental bonus is extremely helpful to begin with.
Fafnir has 30% Boss Damage and 10% PDR Ignore. Not to mention a set effect. I'm sure that more than overpowers the Ele Staves alone. Also, what do you mean by most classes? Have you forgotten Terminus or Sweetwter?

@Deadly1337 EStaves do not have inherent 30% Boss nor 10% Ignore and lower base matk and lower slots and not part of a set and yet much higher Lvl. wut are you talking about
oh yes, poor non-bishop mage classes and their outrageous base matk staves with highest tier potential, tradeable, and +25% damage boost to their element

BOOHOO.
Its 5% elemental bonus, the base m.att is lower than Fafnir staves and BaMs usually tend to go Elestaff too (at least until Fly).

Honestly, ele staves are still better simply due to not being bounded along with the elemental bonuses depending on your class. I'll pass...
Eh, i don't know why people would have thought otherwise. The notes make it pretty clear that only level 140 and 150 items can be upgraded, no?
Just pointing this out because... you felt the need to add all that evidence or something...

It's also not too bad. The upgraded items are equip tradeblocked after all, and for some people that's just not worth the extra damage.
Can you use psok on it? Sorry, if this is a stupid question, just want to clarify before I attempt to switch over.

Eh. Looks like I'm buying a SW staff then. I don't mind that its unsellable. Not like I switch between stuff.

The reason why I went with an e-staff in the first place was because of the appeal of it being tradeable, so tbh I wouldn't even have thought of upgrading it into the new set. But hey, at least they are affected by the new lvl 160+ potential tier.
