Transferring Universities
So, as to use Basil as my personal blog like everyone else, I'm letting you guys know I'm going to try and transfer to another university.
The one I'm at is just not the right place to be at for what I want to do with my life. It's a beautiful institution and it really is a great school, but it isn't right for me.
Any of you guys have any experiences changing colleges?
How did it go for you?
I'm thinking it will go pretty well. I know tons of people over at where I want to transfer and they all love it. Everyone here is just miserable and stressed out.

i changed colleges lol
doesn't feel much different because both are really small schools. i met more people at the school now and my grades are better, so i guess it's alright. i miss my old school though, they had nice sofas to nap on lol.
I lost a year of credit transferring from one college in the same system as the one I transferred to - they said they could only accept a certain amount of credits (~72).

Gotta be better than arizona colleges. Seriously if you value your IQ stay away
Well, I guess there's always Cornell....
.... where everyone commits suicide.
You couldn't handle UoM, don't bother trying to get into Cornell kid
iirc, community college to university transfer applications usually have greater priority for admittance than university to university transfers. that said though, it's definitely possible to transfer.
Hey bro, I'm sure you've heard this already since I remember you posted in my thread, but I've been a college dropout for 6 weeks so far. I'm restarting my college career next fall so I'm currently finalizing my list of the colleges to which I'll apply. I know you go to UNC - Chapel Hill but to where are you transferring? I'm not a stalker.
Anyway, I went to the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. While it's one of the best colleges in the country ( "Harvard of the Midwest" ) , all of the lesbians were just too much for me. I also didn't feel like freezing my ass off in Michigan. I felt I needed to just be closer to my home in Brooklyn, NYC. I'm probably going to go to NYU.
I'm not sure if you're looking for advice but just know that GPA is kind of the main factor when it comes to transfer acceptances.
Ohhh no. I'm American, so I just use the two words interchangeably.
They are both universities though.
