Cross Over Chain is 100% Total Damage, and would stack additively with your other % Total Damage, and % Boss Damage sources.
Final Cut is an independent 1.6x multiplier separate from % Total Damage.
I'm thinking additively.

^ basically this. With the adventurers getting a revamp we to do in a way. Also cannoneer and dual blade are now officially adventurers so we can steal there skills as well.
Phantoms get indirectly buffed. They don't receive any changes, but adventurers do, which are the people you steal skills off. You get a 100% damage increase buff with dark chains and you can steal final cut/bowmasters arrow platter for 4th job. Overall I think you DPS will triple.
