Can someone explain how funding through bossing is bad

Although ive been playing for a long time, I was never funded. So now with a new goal to slowly get stronger for bossing I noticed people saying that self funding is so slow that its pretty much not worth doing. HOW DO PEOPLE FUND THEMSELVES? If anyone can, could you list your pathway to the riches?

I took advantage of events to earn a decent sum of mesos, then self scrolled my staff. After that, I gradually upgraded to a 300k range. Right now I'm in the process of getting scrolled + unique superior gollux. Yes it's time consuming to be self sufficient, but it's not difficult in the grand scheme of things.

If you want to boss full time to fund yourself, it's simply not worth it.
You rather work at McDonalds and make 10x more money.

I self-funded. Don't knock it until you try it.

The people who say it's bad either failed or never tried it and therefore just assume it's bad.

My biggest piece of advice:
50m mesos seems tiny for people, but it adds up. When I mean it adds up, I mean it really, really, really adds up. This is how I made my money. I am a merchant and a bosser. The items I merch don't yield me billions of profit: It yields me a couple hundred mill and the items I sell from boss drops also yield me couple hundred mill.

A couple hundred mill quickly adds up to 1 billion and that all adds up to 10b quickly.

People say you need to go 24/7. Nope. This is not true at all. At first, you'll have to invest more time into establishing things, but after that, things get more and more smooth.

It's one of those things where the more funding you have the more you can self fund via bossing.
if you are strong enough to hellux then you should be strong enough to hmag. You should be strong enough to run cpierre and cqueen. If you are on that level you can make billions each week.

The problem lies in getting to that level. Without spending hundreds or even thousands.

Not I.

24/7 training/farming with pet loot = tons of leaves, grand spell essences, spell traces that can be sold.
That and NX/$$.
Some bosses such as Gollux and Hard Magnus drop equips that can be sold for a decent chunk of Mesos. Tyrant Boots are still valuable. You do need 70 coins for it though.
Also, Magnus and Empress drop boss shards, and getting a magnificent soul = tons of profit.
Their magnificent souls are valuable since they have a chance at providing the best bonus stat increase, and their soul skills are the best summons out of all boss souls.
CRA equips have deflated, but selling them over time brings in mesos slowly. Black Star potion + Tons of Drop rate = Unique tier items from Von Bon and C.Velly.

Boss drops are not worth anything besides monster crystals and farming gollux scrolls/equips and such. I left so stuff out because I gotta fly, someone else can elaborate.

Laters.
