so i wondering, with the new crossover chains we get buff based on %hp. but do we still have the passive drain in order to keep our hp up or do we have to spam pots to keep up the dmg?
soo will it be worth it to cube or buy hp% items? like say I cube a 15%hp pendent or earing. will the dmg increase from crossover chains due to my hp% boost be high or not worth replacing str %
NO WE'RE NOT FREAKING DEMON AVENGERS.
How exactly does the Total Damage: +110% work on Gungnir's Descent? Is it based off your current HP ratio like with Crossover Chains? So if I had 50% hp, Gungnir's Descent would have a +55% total damage multiplier on it?
Total damage multiplier?

correct, which stacks additively with crossover chain's damage bonus.

@yasin15:

More HP won't give us any damage boosts, as explained by GoXDS, the ratio part of crossover chains merely gives you a damage buff according to the %hp you have in relation to your max hp.

@yasin15 as I mentioned, it's %HP Ratio, meaning what % you have left. 35000/35000 will give you the same boost as 45000/45000 and more of a boost than 50000/60000
What does it mean HP ratio?
just means what % of your HP is left.

@El6e: It was actually just explained to me not too long ago that it attempts to proc on each line of an attack, but it can only proc once per monster (so at most, even with a mob of 6; dark impale has 36 seperate chances to proc, but can only proc a max of 6 times in 1 attack)
This IS true but you're less likely to absorb hp on only 1 target (which is what you'll be doing in most practical cases when damage actually matters alot =P) unless you combine it with dark thirst but that only works once every 90 seconds

Edit: something i've always wondered - does drain only attempt to proc once per attack, or will it try to proc on every line of an attack? (i.e: on dark impale will it only try to proc once, or 6 times?)
I'm pretty sure it doesn't procs every line of attack

We still keep our drain, so it's all good.
