Unfortunately, that's the case updating your level means updating your avatar.

If you cannot upload a user because its name would contain the word "troll" while in fact it doesn't: could you please upload a picture of the screen you get, or as @brian890 did, perhaps make a small video? (excellent, by the way)

Can't hurt to have it. I'm sending a message to mrb again since he wanted examples. I'd like one of every scenario, so I guess yours would be part of that. I'm not sure why he'd even block the word if it's an ign...

I need an example from someone with the problem.

First example I need is when the page refreshes on you instead of adding the character (give me the ign)

Second example I need is when the site says your ign has "troll" in it, when it doesn't actually have that (again, give me the ign)

Still can't add any of my El Nido characters.

Basil can't find any of my players on Arcania server, but I can find them all in the MS rankings

Darn, that isn't supposed to happen...

I got a PM too saying the overall problem should have been fixed, so El Nido should be working as well.

EMS players can now be added, just got a response from mrb and he said he fixed it. Have also tested myself and it's working.

That's true and thanks for the offer, but I'm also curious about the lag-rumours, so I'll make a character of my own anyway. Ahhh... I remember when GMS was hosted from New York... almost no lag. And then they moved the servers to LA and I started lagging.

Same problem here... Cant update my eMS chars, neither can I add my newest eMS Mule...

OT : i dont have experienced problems, only when i try to add characters on my telehpone, sometimes it doesn't work.

I'll make a control character in El Nido. That also gives me a nice opportunity to check if I'll have less lag there than in Broa. (no, I will not leave Broa)

Just checked and it seems like EMS chars can't be added, also checked the rankings and they are currently up and running so I'll PM mrb and come back with an update when he replies.

I have the same problem- I'm trying to add an eMS player here.

when i try to update my characters looks by updating it, it updates level but not the look

In about 12 hours (it's just past midnight right now for me) I'll send MrBasil a PM asking him if he can temporarily allow users to "manually" upload a character the way we did it in the olden days: list name, submit picture, wait for picture and name to be approved. I'll volunteer for the job of matching names and uploaded pictures with pictures of the rankings (that could be problematic since they don't update very often) if it'd take too much time for him alone.
I can't promise anything, but I'll do my best. People can't auction, which sucks, and some have also been flamed for being a grey blob while they can't help being blobs. :S

I cant add my player the name is "EnTjuv" and I play on ems v.75. when i try to add the player on the add player page all it does is reload the page when i have enter the right name and game. Can anyone help me?

Can't add my character Fictional. Version: EMS. The page refreshes when I press "add character" or whatever...

Hypotoniq of El Nido. I've been a Basiler for at least 3 years, if not more.

Strange it's not just El Nido and EMS any more, but affects other versions as well. I'll PM MrBasil again. This is a really annoying problem.

EDIT: When I try to look at the rankings on MapleGlobal's site I get [url=http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb309/Touzokuou/Rankingsproblem.jpg]this.[/url] When I tried to upload my control character Thyristor I first got a message the character couldn't be found (I checked for typos, there weren't any) and the second time I tried she was uploaded normally.

I'm not able to add my El Nido (GMS) character to basil.
Also, this is a newish basil account, dunno if that makes a difference.

He's doing this with everyone, and it's annoying, because whenever i checked, mrb was wrong and the characters DO exist.

I PM'd him about it on Saturday, so maybe when this 3-day weekend is over, he'll look at it and fix it.

Im in ems, basilmarket for 6(?) months...

This has not worked me for serveral weeks now. I went to update my Nightlord and it completely deleted my character and won't let me readd. The version check bubble is deformed on my brouser (I've tried several brousers) and when I type my character name in, it will not process. I'm a GMS user and have had a basil account for over 48 months.

I am having that problem and my character is in GMS. Also the website is only updating the picture of my characters when I edit. I'm level 92 in my main. And also I have had a basil account for a couple months.

I'm afraid there's not much you can do, except submitting a ticket about your problem. For some reason Basil Market doesn't allow characters from El Nido to be added to player lists.

EMS [i]had[/i] a rankings problem. Any clue if the rankings have been fixed in the mean time?

Well, my issues is not related to editing my characters, it's about creating new threads. Since I can't create one I might as well hijack this one for answers, please?

Current problem: Whenever I try to create a new thread I get this response: "Adding new threads is temporarily disabled."

So I wonder if it's a normal thing to happen, if they have a real reason to it or is it just me who's getting that? Thanks in advance.

Page refreshes when I try to add a new player, Rests - Kradia - EMS.

Characters from europe MapleStory seems to not update anymore, this include my main character Clementine - but also my other characters, Selynia and Pasteque.
It is refreshing the page. I've been able to update Clementine one month ago (it was 102 before our big bang patch, in fact), but not within the last 2 weeks.
