@emplex: The thin/thick lasers don't make a difference, dark gen either does full damage if cast normally or near full (90~95%?) if cast after a v1 is killed. you can tank with full hp

you are also given 5 lives, and a buff eater. Something I jelly that Phantoms have that we DBs don't have is Shroud Walk. Shroud "standing" can help you tank .

@dominion About the dark genesis....? Don't you just tank the thin ones if you can't properly dodge it?

Also, buff freezers/wheels are sold for mesos now, should be fairly easy if you play smart, keep track of timers, etc.

Dual blade can do it with that range, but I don't know about phantom. Since this is your first time, it's unlikely that you'll clear as you have to know a few things.
After V1 knights, she can full map dark genesis which will almost 1 hit you, so have full hp or use i-frames when this is cast.
Normal dark genesis will 1 hit kill you. DR cooldown is 80 seconds (so if she casts at 26:30, next one is ready at 25:10, for ez math just subtract 20 off the "seconds" number).
You can study videos but experiencing it will be the best way to learn

I was running 1.7m range, SE, CO, Rage mule, 302%boss, 78%pdr, 97%crit when I did emp last week. Did it in about 20 minutes.
Skills used were darksight, channel karma, surge, and final cut/rf. I made use of the DR time to swap between fc and rf.
Given your range, you would probably not make it to v2, let alone empress as a whole. Empress summoning shinsoo will take a chunk out of your time and you have to kill him fast.
Moreover, the v2 took up most of my time since I was afraid of mihile's damage reflect. Voldeame is literally your favorite skill when doing this boss.
Buff up during v1s or when she warps you to a different map. Time your DRs and attack when she attacks.
Get around twice that range and you can probably do v2. Sorry for errors, I'm writing this at 1:55 in the morning on my note 3
