When Was Your Jobs Most Fun Times?

I have a habit of remaking jobs.. just to enjoy the leveling and growth process.. i feel like when you get to the 180s or 190s and you have nothing more to upgrade.. just lvl.. boss.. merch.. cube, i unno, the game kinda gets stale to me. I unno... i feel like the journey is more exciting than reaching the destination, the feel you get when you unlock new skills and stuff.

I loved the whole journey, but i especially loved 100-170, was so happy when i finally got phantom blow and i anticipated and wanted asura sooooo bad.

What was your job's most fun times? Or do you hate the journey?

Before 'Big Bang' I remember looking forward to hitting level 120 and spamming genesis at skeles.

I had a lot of fun playing my page to paladin for quite some time. I loved how fresh the game felt at when I started in 2011, and it continued being fun until some time mid 2013, but now I don't know.

But I really wish I had taken screens or videos of my progress in maple when I was new.

Finally getting HS. It was cool knowing that I could significantly change my experience rate at my whim and control
and no party member could say or do anything about it. If they kicked me out of party,
they'd just have to go through the process of getting another Bishop.
Who wants to take time getting PT members when you could be training?
They were at my command. muahaha

When I finally got Blizzard and could sell leech to guild mates and strangers. It was an easy way to make cash and level up. Plus, it was fun knowing I could die easily if a Skele didn't freeze before it did touch damage.

April 2007 - June 2010. Fun completely died out two years later in 2012.

Probably my favorite moment was getting to 120 on my original Dual Blade pre-BB. Pretty much ever since I heard about Dual Blades from Spadow's blog, I instantly fell in love with the class because of the mobility and one skill in particular caught my eye; Chains of Hell. Hell, I even made a KMS account just to play 1-30 on a Dual Blade to see what it was like. So eventually, after finally leveling up to 120, I also had to get the skillbook for CoH and Final Cut. Since Dual Blades came out around the same time as potential reared its ugly head, Zakum wasn't too bad, but I ended up going on about 5-6 runs due to the fact that people didn't understand loot order. But when I finally did get CoH, damn.... it was the coolest skill ever. Probably my favorite moment with it was with Royal Guard Type S and using Mirrored Target plus Fatal Blow and Chains of Hell to get massive amounts of exp, which for Pre-Big Bang was very helpful. Took forever, but taking that guy down was extremely satisfying.

i find thunder breaker really fun after 30. Like being able to hit 2 platforms and and all the light blue flashy sharks and attacks. Really fun. But i like zero the most after 100 cause every 5 - 10 levels u get new skills

Hero: post 4th job pre big bang (brandish made slash blast training to 120 worth it..)
Mageost 4th pre bb (ks wars galore <3)
Marksman: pre hypers when ultimate strafe was a thing..

Only reason why I'd never quit my main is because Nexon put way too many switching costs on playing a different character..

Cannon Master, I didn't expect 4th job's Bazooka to have such amazing range and power @.@ This really motivated me to train harder.

To add on, I had a fafnir in the waiting so that was one goal point for me (with a 20 lvl w. by pass key from events). -> 130
Another was buck shot/cRA set. -> 150
Last one was Rolling Rainbow -> 170

Best journey I've had through a character for a while now.

EDIT: In terms of handling the staleness, I recommend going to a boss if you're range isn't necessarily sufficient. When you boss and it's a challenge, it actually becomes really fun.

Again w/ my cannon master, I fought normal mode von leon with 100k range. That's good range, but not great if you're trying to solo. It was a huge challenge fighting him trying to handle mobs, watching for DR, and dodging attacks cause pirates are so squishy. If your DB has decent range, find a boss that's challenging and take it down.
