Blaming movies isn't going to change the mentality these hood rats have. Moreover, this bears little resemblance to the actual premise of the movie, which is that everything that was once illegal becomes legal for twelve hours. Unless they're making a comment regarding affirmative action and how they might be let off as the black "flash mobs" were at events like the Wisconsin State Fair in 2011.

Also, the Detroit "purge" is supposed to occur at midnight tonight.

In Louisville, I've posted what I've heard on the scanner. I haven't heard anything out of Detroit or Chicago yet, but I do know that there are rumors of more "purges" continuing through the month.

This is coming on the heels of a bunch of protests from Ferguson, KY over the shooting of a black kid. Posters have been put up in Louisville, warning of a "purge" (like the movie) in which they would terrorize people from 8 PM their time tonight until 6:30 AM tomorrow morning.
