Thinking about maining a bishop

Okay so I just quit my NL and am thinking about going back to mages <3 I was wondering how strong bishops can get with a good funding? I know, I'm not playing it "just for damage" and I should play jobs "just for fun" etc but a good part of fun to me is doing a decent amount of damage.

So. How much funding would it take to get to say 1m damage and higher?

Thanks!

Funding bishop is pretty expensive imo, but you will do decent dmg between 100k-200k range, which isn't very difficult to achieve. The only fun thing with bishop funding is that you won't be done with it anytime soon.
A funded bishop can do pretty well on the dojo rank, and bossing in general.
Bishop comes with high status resistance, and crit rate, which is helpful. The hypers are really good too.
You will get invited on boss runs, because people want your buff, which will help you funding yourself or other chars.
I think it's a fun class to play, has been my main since forever.

600k range clean, 800k with buffs, 100% crit rate, and I hit 4mil with BB/AR. With infinity my hits go up to 5-6-7-8mil.

Honestly though I already wish I had the funding on a different mage, because I would be hitting way more and way faster.
The thing I really like about it though is that I go on boss runs as support but am able to support the group with my damage, even if it isn't as high or fast as theirs.

Honestly, if:
- I hadn't poured so much time & money into my F/P
- My F/P wasn't 50 levels higher than my bishop
- I didn't prefer the F/P gameplay
- I still played the game
I'd probably main a bishop. They're pretty fun, yo.

With around 125k range and 70%ish ignore, 100% crit (53%min/68% max dmg with dSE), I can hit consistent 1.5m+'s on reg mobs, around 1.5-2m/line on bosses (115% boss clean with top 50 dojo gloves), half that for bosses with holy resist (all with AR + Righteously Indignant btw)

I don't think bishops will give you the joy that night lord does where you can jump and attack(I love being able to do this).

Uhm bishops can do truckloads of damage without much funding but the drawback is they're not great with a lot of funding, meaning there will be classes that will outshine them with the same amount of funds.

Mobility wise, you'll probably need some time getting use to teleport since you're probably so used to flash jumping.

I've never played a bishop before but angel ray seems like a cool skill, it feels really slow though.

Bishops are fun when you reach 4th job I swear their 2nd and 3rd Job skils are extremely terrible. Well Mostly 2nd Job lol. Yeah their skills scales really high.
