Anyone remember

When there was a myth that the beginner skill "Three Snails" never missed?

Your turn to say something you think others may have forgotten, and readers give a "THUMBS UP" to those you remember.

-Bunch of people were buying and selling stuff right outside of Kerning PQ at Ch. 1.
-The ship to Orbis was located at Ellinia. If you went AFK once you got on the ship, you might find yourself respawn at Ellinia Station when you came back.

Buying Gepharts with those Maple Coins from CPQ and then NPCing them for mesos, it was like 350k each or something. Also NPCing potions from LudiMazePQ to make mesos, I think it was grape juice, orange juice, coffee milk and something else. I was too damn poor back then.

Best cpq memory is playing an archer and having enough accuracy to quickly use an avoid buff, and not worry when the other team returns one.

I, sincerely, with all my heart, wish they just put CPQ back, make it worth like 70% of the level exp or something, I just want to play it with the populated community for 35-50.
It was so fun to save up cp to spam master chronos+weapon lock+magic lock+avoid+attack up+defense up. Those were the days...We had different strategies, either max out teddies to make them get low cp and get earlier weapon cancels. We always had the fastest player to find the pole to knock it down.
Enjoy rolling for 20min, then accidentally click the dice again after you get it. Later on we check, and we never get it again.
Also staying on that screen too long causing maple to crash.
Hell, even the first arrival of Monster Carnival was good when it was released. It was THE way to go once you hit lvl35 & it was soo much fun. Needed that good ole' accuracy to be able to kill efficiently, then once Arans were released they dominated that PQ so easily.. well least mine did lool
Lol you mean cash money sins that did 1k per line with the 30 luk sauna and pro claw. Killing rombots in 2-3 hits were the thing when it first came out.

J>pq with track/clicker. People took KPQ seriously back then, and don't get me started on trying to get into LPQ.

I remember when you had to actually collect snail shells as ammunition for that skill to work.
Red snail shells gave the most damage, but it was harder to kill those. You had to level up to 7 or 8 just to be able to reliably kill Red Snails to get the shells so you could kill the one or two Orange Mushrooms that were on Maple Island. Took a long time to get to those levels.
That it used to be difficult to get to level 30, and people above it we're considered what level 150's are today.
I partially agree with that, when I started, the SHEER DIFFICULTY of getting to level 30, was more like 160+
It took me a week to get out of maple island, and the limited mesos for pots, weapons, and etc. are the reason it is so hard, this is especially true for those new players back then. It's not that we found grinding boring, it was just too pot-expensive for us.

EDIT: Remember when people had waited hours to get into kpq? Those were the times when people would actually socialize and have fun.

When you used to be able to get to the top of the mast of the ship docked in Lith Harbor (without soaring)

Yes I do remember that. I also remember sneaking up after my bedtime to hunt ZMM so I could sell the drops. That was my only source of income for a long while lol. You had almost no chance of finding her during the day back then.
I also remember training at Wolf spiders just for that chance of finding llbies or however they are spelled. Back then they sold for about 10-20mil depending on your server, and anything after 10mil was filthy rich to me xD
