Ok here is the 2nd one, Phantom. I forgot to include a storyline for Dark Mercedes so I would just add it on here as well as the Phantom storyline.

Mercedes:
"A century has passed and the frozen heroine was reanimated from her slumber, but had left her weaker as a result. Now Mercedes must restore and protect her hometown and resume her duty to protect Maple World."

She explores this new world and see a lot has changed and some still remained the same. Venturing off into the new world, she helps those who are in need and protected the weak. Some of them were thankful but most of them ignored her kind acts, she gave this some thought on what she might have done wrong. One night while she was resting in the woods near Elluel, tired from battle and saving people, she was chased down by the villagers with guns, swords, and torches. The mob saying: "You're not one of our kind!", "Go back where you belong", "You all belong in ice". She ran away from them, even though she was still painfully exhausted. This is when she realized, that the people she sought to protect have now shunned her. With her own kind frozen, she took up arms against the people who would dare harm them. As the last of her kind left standing and unfrozen, her hatred grew for the people who do not even appreciate what she has done for them back then and now.
On that night, she whispered to the wind, "There is no true peace anymore".

Phantom:
"Due to the death of a close friend, he went on the path of the hero. He fought with the others and sealed away the Black Magician, but just as they were frozen in ice, so was he. And now he is revealed! With a triumphant smile, confident attitude, and the elegance of the past, he fights to defend the Maple World!"

Phantom returns to his old habits, stealing the worlds riches like in the old days. Even though he takes a lot of the valuables and treasures, the people he steals from are still happy and joyous, this in turn made him grow in envy. With each new secret vault he opens, evidences of his past love return to his lost memory, the love that he felt and the pain of her loss. This unbearable pain he feels from his past and the envy towards those who have people who love them, slowly he was consumed by this hatred.

One day while he was sitting in his own treasure room, deep in thought, being consumed by his own hatred, he realized that stealing material possessions isnt worth it anymore and that he would steal the greatest thing he ever desired and lost, happiness. On that moment, Phantom devoid himself of all emotion and sought to steal everyone's happiness.
