@SomeJello: I want to improve my speed as much as possible. My sprinting is fast I guess but I last very short.
When I used to do cardio, I did it a specific way and I greatly improved my stamina. Like a lot, lol.
I started off by doing a warm up walk/power walk for like 5 laps or something, to get the blood pumping.
After that, my little circuit or whatever you want to call it went like this:
1 walking lap > 1 jogging lap > 1 running lap > 1 jogging lap > 1 walking lap = 1 round/set
I tried doing as much rounds as I could every time I went to the gym and sure enough, I saw my number of rounds increasing and a huge increase in stamina.
I haven't done this in like 2 or 3 months though because I started focusing on lifting.
Warm up, constant speed for the most part, cool down.
Lol I used to run track in highschool. Ran a 4:31 mile my sophomore year It depends on what you're trying to do, if it's just a simple run then a constant speed is best.
I do want to improve my speed. It takes like 8.5 minutes to do 1 mile.

Outside on the street.
