What are some everyday items that need improvement?
Hey ya'll! This is for a class, but I'm just wondering what are some everyday items that we use that needs improvement? You don't need to provide any solutions, just the problems would be fine!

heaters, a/c, lights.
@sirkibble: I wish it'd suck, that way it wouldn't be blowing low-rent F/P Megiddo Flames everywhere all the time!
Just kidding.
I do have a cooling pad, but it oft feels like I'm trying to stifle a house fire by dropping a handkerchief on it. At least this laptop doesn't actually overheat, just lags a smidge, but when something gets a bit hot under the collar for Maple, Maple! That's ridiculous.
Jars (there's always a bit of food left in them that you can never get out without water...)
Pencils (Seriously, they're so wasteful)
Umbrellas (they only kind-of block the rain)
The Chat forum is a horrible place to ask about these things.

My laptop. -_-
I could cook eggs on it better than my rubbish oven's hob, and I daresay my oven could function as a better computer, if only by default.
