weirdest thing happened
weirdest thing happened. so this guy wanted to buy my Tyrant boots. and we were just talking and he tried playing the 10k-10b mesos game but i never got to trade quick enough. Eventually. he was like I want to see if i can trust you so he traded me items worth over 10b and put in the 10b mesos. he said if i cancel after he presses trade he would make me the happiest man ever. Nice guy me does cancel, and he also trades me a 4%all stat nebulite and says if he gives it to me and i give it back he would make me even happier, so i did that. Eventually he says he has to go soon so he tries to play the 10k-10b mesos game and we both fail to try to get eachother. Then he says im a really nice guy and he has to leave.
Should i have taken the 20b+ worth of items he gave me when i had the chance?
Was it nice of me letting stuff like that go, or just plain stupid o.o

You cant recieve more than 10b mesos so I guess he was toying with you? idk seems confusing.
You should've taken it. He is a scammer. He deserves it.

The same thing happened to me by a scammer named Tapuc. The story he told me was exactly like yours, he told me he was quitting and he wouldn't care if I ran off with the 8.8b but if I didn't take it there would be a big prize at the end. Being a good guy I am I didn't take it. But we played the game and no one fell for the mesos trick so he said he had to go. He just kept talking and he wanted to play the game again but sadly I did and lost my tyrant belt. </3
by any chance do you remember his ign? i remember someone did the same thing to me and it was same situation. hes just a scammer trying to run off with free stuff.

you know what, you did the right thing, imagine if that was you on the other side. In fact, you probably restored his faith in maplestory. Who knows, maybe one day you will be the reason he comes back and play. good job mate.
I kind of wish i took the items and money because he did say he was quitting, but i just never was the guy to take stuff like that.. Knowing he was probably not quitting and he was just messing around with me.

He's going to try it again and he's going to get burnt. Either way, he was not going to use it again. I'm not saying you did wrong, but those items will probably never see the light again.
If someone wants to play with fire and complain that they get burned, it's their fault. Not stupid to take his items, his fault for attempting a scam like that.

Well, first off, it shows you're nice, and you shouldn't scam other people.
you shouldn't have taken these items from him, and it's good that you didn't.
It only makes you a reliable, trustworthy mechant.
