Its actually not grey the rubber rings on the first pic are black , the flash just emphasizes the grey in them, and the 2nd pic made the silvery white look grey also

I think they're corny (my opinion), but if you say, "I made them just for you," of course she would get all warm inside and be happy because you but effort into her present and you didn't just buy one.

The grey isn't very aesthetic but the concept is nice.
You need a color that doesn't take away from the rest of the rainbow colors.
Either something that doesn't stand out like white, or blends in with the color scheme.

The first one is about only 1/8 of an inch thick, the width is about 1 1/2 inches.
