Which Class Is The Most Like It Used To Be Back In The Days?

title says it all, i hate the whole idea of flashy skills that cover the entire map.
also, is it really true what they say about reboot server and that you can get to endgame content fast without spending a dime?

@beefly: Yes, but the rest of it is not client-sided.
I can use AR. I can use AR and telecast with it.
But there's going to be a server-response delay between teleport and AR, because AR is indeed *NOT* client sided.

@natty2: Now I'm confused, do bishops not have client sided tele?

I think all mages that have an offensive tele lose DPS, it's just that for BaMs they lose like half their DPS if they don't telecast.

@beefly: Haha, no...
I wouldn't know, I suffer from latency issues.
Being overseas is a big no-no for time sensitive classes. If I am losing DPS because I could teleport faster, I wish I could fix that.

@natty2: wow Nexon, that's not fair, at least give BaMs that no-delay tele, no idea if bishops suffer from massive DPS loss if they don't tele.

@animus: Summon no jutsu successful!
@gekkegerrit: Yes, however, modern bishop is probably one of the best teleporters atm (at least from the perspective of explorer mages).
Kanna's teleport is bad, no argument there.
Lumi's teleport is brokenly bad, Like, really bad. Only good in Equalibrium.
Battle Mage's is realy good, as is Evan's.
F/P is kind of basic, and I/L's teleport is probably the furthest in distance. Don't get me started on BT or BW.
HOWEVER, Bishop, starting from level 150 get arguably the best hyper skill EVER; (GMS) Rightously Indignant (Or as we prefer, the KMS name: Vengence of Angel, VoA for short).

Only class to get Teleport *on client side* . Fastest teleport there is.
Also makes Angel Ray *NOT* clunky, but very much the good 1v1 skill it is today.

An example if a very bad bishop with bad habits and kinda OK-ish control given here, doing dojo.

Starting on 8m5s on purpose, so you can see me fail fantasticly on low floors three months ago, but see how AR attack on a good pace, and teleport isn't clunky, but reacts very fast, and works fantasticly.
Also, yes, shameless advertising.
That was on point of being slow, or clunky, which it isn't, starting at level 150.

Now onto the power issue; that can't be said on just every class, it is true bishop may very well not be the strongest, but I also strongly object to any claim of it being the weakest. Bishop's power is indeed pretty big.

THERE WAS EVEN A TIME BISHOP WAS STRONGER THAN DUAL BLADE, BEFORE 5TH JOB CAME OUT;
Link to a video by smartbored of Bishop VS Dual Blade.
I still love the comments.

When i started this game i made a Clerc>Priest>Bishop. I never play that char anymore because the skill are weak and the mobillity is terrible.
I dont think they have changed to Bishop in like 10 years or more.
So if you like old skool feeling (slow, no mobillity and weak) go for Bishop. Buy perm beginners is always a good alternative.

I want to say... I/L mages? For the most part they feel pretty much the same. Well, in terms of play-style.

If we want to get technical, you can change skill transparency to low and no class is flashy.

@solkool: Meh... not even Perma Beginners feel exactly the same as they did back in the old days. =/

@helpingly: dude pally changed so much i quit mine, can't fuse an element for all attacks now you gotta mix them up wtf is that.

@ecarina: BaMs went from this to this (a bit unfair because of 5th job, just switch that giant scythe skill with finishing blow the first video has.) The whole telecast thing, short cooldowns, and aura switch made the class pretty different to me. Reaper changed too, now you get 1 strong reaper instead of millions of weak ones.

I think when OP said "Back In The Days" he means pre-bb, but for BaMs that would just be their release (which compared to the first video, you would switch that giant BKB with The Finisher, and only use dark aura, and maybe even use twister spin)

Ehhh I would say Hero or Sniper. Their core gameplay has stayed intact even after all the revamps and constant changes.

Demon Avengers mostly spam 1 skill and throw shields. The flashiest thing is probably their Hyper skill, which is still pretty quick.

Marksmen aren't too flashy. Mostly just regular old snipe and piercing shot, with a few hypers and 5th jobs thrown in there. Compared to other jobs at least, their 5th jobs and hypers are pretty tame.

Battle Mages are largely the same as they have been, with quick attacks and stuff. The grim reaper thing could be considered flashy and I guess the altars in 5th job too maybe. I wouldn't say they're too bad about it.

My guess is sniper, mainly the not so flashy part. Hero is also pretty similar they just have something else besides brandish.

No it's not true.
you can get to endgame content EXTREMELY SLOWLY without spending a dime.
