Our Chaos Vellum (as long as they don't buff it) is leagues easier than KMS CVellum. So with the 50m damage cap and a good party we can kill it, though it's not gonna be remotely easy.

Yup, I got my Empress gun for 4b back when they were only available with nx. Same thing will happen to Fafnir eventually. People said it was impossible to kill the Empress.

Good luck with scrolling it. I've been working on scrolling my fafnir dagger and I've spent over 2.5b on it and its only +5. I decided to just give up and slate the rest of the slots back and use the unleashed 50% 5att scrolls.

Indeed, there was a time when the first and only (for a few months anyway) successful Pink Bean expedition was comprised only of GMs. But even if that was a rumor, Pink Bean remained undefeated for a while.
