Myers-Briggs Personality Test
Have you ever taken this test for a psychology class or just for fun? I'm curious what your results are. Do you think your result is a more or less accurate representation of you?
I'm an ENFJ and I'd say my description isn't too far off for me

I think I'm an ambivert, soo halfway between INFJ and ENFJ.
I hate this, b/c people usually brag about how rare theirs is, lmao.
Anyways, ISTJ.
INTJ here, and it's pretty accurate.
INTP for me. always will be one since i hate being emotional and opening myself emotionally to another individual. plus, im always lost in my thoughts but thats probably because ima stoner
@AugustRain: There's no doubt that it's flawed as no one test can define someone. I think people respond to it in the manner you described because it seems scientific and legitimate, whereas something like a horoscope is written off as silly. Both are just some minor good fun at the least.
ENFJs uniting, I like, I like.
What do you dislike about it, @AugustRain?
it's not an accurate portrayal of your personality; people shouldn't be assigned a specific type. and what i notice is, once someone gets labeled a specific type, they read up on it and think "omg, this is so accurate, this is so true," and overanalye it.
also w/ that test, most ppl answer what they want themselves to be like. so it's is easy to manipulate and skew the results.
@TehRaygunicorn: oh thank you i think +___+ it seems more like my life/mood changes a lot haha
@teenagedream: I'm majoring in clinical nutrition

hey fellow infp what are planning on majoring/majored in university/college? me and my friend are both infps and we're attending art school!
i used to be an INTP back in 2012. nowadays, im an ENTJ.
ENFJs uniting, I like, I like.

i hate the mbti. that said, im bored & im ENFJ

WOOO ENFJ here too
@wontpostmuch would you consider yourself to be a bit of both then? I'm curious to hear more about what you have to say about this because I have a slight feeling we might have a similar mentality.. Because the ENFP profile ignores a lot of what you said and that definitely appeals to me/reflects my actual self haha

Just read over the ENFP and I am definitely not even close to it! I love socializing and thrill seeking, but I'm one of those types of people that will mainly talk about myself and when I listen to what someone else says, I usually don't care too much. Like the quote at the top of the page, I think like that but only of myself. I care not where I am, but where my potential lies. Don't care to find out for others lol.
Also not the type to seek the spotlight or try to guide others. I prefer living in the moment with social interactions and how I seek adventure, but even within it there's an introverted nature to it I suppose. Idk hard to describe but for the most part, I struggle to understand other people at a deeper level but I'm perfectly capable of hearing you out and making you laugh.
istj
I really like this. It's nice to see what everyone comes out as
@ClementZ: Probably cause that anger makes you more judgemental :o
I normally get INTP.
When I'm upset/angry for whatever reason, I tend to get INTJ though.
I took the test from the front page and got ISFP
INTJ the first time and then took it again a couple months later and got ISTJ.

@Schokoshake thanks haha i try to keep myself as transparent as possible ;D it's important to hold yourself accountable to well.. yourself haha
@dorks oh my god, you must be the rare borderline person. that's amazing you know, it just means you're incredibly balanced and you should be very proud of yourself (well it's an assumption but still damn lol)
I got INFP this time around. I can see myself in some of the description: I'm really good at expressing myself and how I feel through writing, get lost in "deep" thought all the time and enjoy challenging philosophical questions and taking in beauty in a good way and I'm definitely very sensitive to injustices in the world, but all of this neglects that I absolutely crave social gatherings, some attention and recognition and adventure. I'm one of those people that need huge adrenaline rushes or else I get restless, so INFP doesn't seem to quite meet that criteria.
Always feel like I'm at some weird intersection, especially since I'm not really introverted or extraverted. One thing it did get totally right though is that I'm like a little child when I show how excited I am over something.
It's a legitimate concern- we talked a lot about this in a personality psych course i took and the prof couldn't offer a reasonable answer lol
retook the one @teenagedream posted and i got ENFP
extroverted - 19%
intuitive - 18%
feeling - 69%
prospecting - 63% (i'm always so damn high in this and feeling)
assertive - 7%
coolcoolcool
Looks like you're a pretty constant person through and through!
INFP
The I always stays there, the rest always seem to be different
That's definitely something I've thought about when taking the test that could skew the actual results. I'm curious about the enneagram test, too

@teenagedream thanks but I meant for the enneagram test haha I've taken multiple myers-briggs tests
i think the main problem with this type of test is people rig answers to what they want to see/perceive themselves to be instead of being completely honest
INTJ it's entirely correct.
ENTJ and it's right on the money.
I used to be INTJ.
ENFP reporting for duty
@teenagedream could you post a link to that test? I'd love to see what I get there
http://www.16personalities.com/infp-personality top right
INTP. Very accurate
ENFP reporting for duty
@teenagedream could you post a link to that test? I'd love to see what I get there
I'm INFP and I thought it was pretty accurate. I also took an enneagram test and I got 749 tri-type which was extremely more accurate than the myers brigs test
INFP is at the very end of the spectrum, we're the deepest 'feelers' etc
