Max of 255 matk?
Hey, I heard something about a max limit of 255 matk from scrolling, is this true?
It's referenced in this (very old) thread:

Basically I have a fafnir weapon with 204 base matk. If I use 20% scrolls (+7 matk each) 10 times (+70), will I end up with a 274 matk staff or a 255 matk staff?
In a related note, can you break this cap via enhancement?

@ClassOf12: Yes this is the one.
And no, its not capped at 30 m.att/att. This might be the case on other gear than weapons tho.

And i am 95% sure the gain from additional options is capped at 30 attack/magic attack and 50 of any stat.

If you think about the wep i am thinking of, the Ad Option gave the staff 300+ m.att
I've never heard of that cap. If it's there, it's quite ridiculous to keep releasing weapons with higher base m.atk.

Could anyone verify they hit the 255 cap [b]on a fafnir weapon[/b]? It almost seems too easy to hit cap if your weapon starts in the 200s clean...
That means mages only have to land 1 20% then they can gm it :
there is a magic attack cap on staves pre EE. i'm living proof of it
@SoulAffinity: For gms only the premium scrolls go up to 9, but it's 7-9 so far. There is no 10 attack/mattack for gms yet so this could only be for global.
@ecyz: I would like to see a staff with that :O, maybe @skyenets has one or a wand I know she showed on on the evan forums but not sure if it was scrolled.

Obviously no cap because Nexon keeps releasing these scrolls that +9 or 10 att/m.att

There's no reason for Nexon to implement something like that, seeing as Power Creep is giving us staves/wands with enough base m.atk to easily break 255 from just scrolling.
Yes you can break the cap with enhancements, but I too have heard the max was 255 this is why I slowed down trying to perfect my elestaff with premium scrolls (7-9mattack).
i heard its up to 225 m.att with scrolling, but the limit doesn't affect enhances from ee scrolls
