I need some relationship advice Basil
I have a girlfriend if you haven't guessed by the title...but she's SUPER shy....(I'm 16 btw) she holds my hand whenever she can but she won't let me kiss her or hug her in front of people and whenever I try, she lets me stay for about 5 minutes and then moves. I try to move next to her but she just moves away again. I can't even go over to her house because her parents are way overprotective and won't even let her have a boyfriend (they don't even know about me.) I wouldn't have a problem with her PDA it's just that we NEVER see each other outside of school and she acts like that whenever we're in school and they said she won't be able to have a boyfriend until she's 16...she has depression but makes the best of it. When she's actually around me she's so happy and joyful or just around friends period but when she's by herself she's so depressed and sad. She's suicidal and I don't know what to do...If you guys have ANY advice about what to do, please help me...I have tried every loose end I can...

We are together for 7 years now and we still don't kiss in public. Sometimes a fast kiss, but that's it
Seriously though, break up with her before she threatens suicide IF you break up with her.
Because she's already suicidal, it's already in her head. You can't stop it, you can't make her "more suicidal", and if she becomes less suicidal it's on her own, not through you.
If you don't leave in time, and she threatens suicide if you ever DO leave, then YOU WILL MAKE YOURSELF FEEL TERRIBLE WHEN SHE KILLS HERSELF.
Get out. Please. I've never even had a girlfriend but really just get out of that relationship.

The fact you had to point out that you're [i]MADLY[/i] in love with her "not just because of her looks" makes me believe that you're only with her because of her looks. Otherwise, you would have said something like "I'm MADLY in love with her, (insert some amazing quality she has or why she is so special to you)". But you didn't. You went straight to talking about how hot your girlfriend is.
She's suicidal? Break up with her before she tries to blackmail you.
if she has depression and has suicidal tendencies don't make her uncomfortable when it's unneeded

@Keane: What I was REALLY asking though was what are some way's I can just make her come out of her shell a bit. Not asking for us eating each other's faces off...
It's not that I don't love her, I'm MADLY in love with her, not just because of her looks but for her as a person but it's just I've had two relationships before with public display of affection involved and I'm just having a hard time re-adjusting...
well if she's suicidal, best thing you can do is respect her wishes and do things that make her happy. If you don't know what these things are, find out and hopefully she'll be happier eventually and you'll get to make out with her whenever you want.
