The first episode was good. It kept me entertained from begining to end.

@Deciduous: I only started getting into it when they showed the flashbacks i kept thinking he was an @ss just for the sake of it xD the manga kinda reminds me of Ares except without all the supernatural elements then again i read Ares before Berserk.

@Deciduous: That is common knowledge, but just because they take longer to release a chapter does not always mean its better quality then the ones that take shorter it can just mean they are working with a lower budget and although berserk is a good manga none of the last few chapters are anything AMAZING to justify their long wait.

@snowdragon470: i feel like hiatuses on the scale of HxH and Berserk do put things into perspective, going months at a time w/ no updates and having short updates when they resume.
also seems like the monthly format is underappreciated bc people are so used to the most popular titles being weekly. i mean i used to think monthly magazines/non Jump magazines meant a series was unpopular or slated to die, etc. monthly seems like it's not only easier on the author in terms of workload, but also allows better pacing/more thought to pour into chapters.

Ive read it in fact im up to date with it. Just because theres other manga that take longer to get updated does not mean 1 month 1 chapter is not a long wait lol. Then again the chapters are about ~50 pages so i guess its not horrible just hoping with the anime coming out that people learn about the series so it gets a boost on the manga

If they follow the manga properly, this will be the best dark action/adventure series in a long time. I have very high hopes after seeing the trailer. Esdese! <3

anyway, it's a typical edgy action show. i don't think too highly of it bc they killed all the characters i liked and the ones left suck. the current arc w/ the main villain's son is soooo overdone and bad lmao. like "let's introduce some new villains! we better have them be incredibly violent and also force their victims into sex, bc they're villains!" basically i'm glad we're probably not having those parts animated.
