Thunder Breaker or Night Walker?
I'm starting in a new world with friends so that means I will have no funds also coming back from a hiatus. Which job is better unfunded for bossing, training, etc.
It can be better but it requires a lot of factors for it to happen.
In DIPQ, NW has been the fastest class I have played... 4 mins including the boss. Even with OHKOs on all jobs, NW can't be beat at DIPQ.
I've gotten similar times on my TB honestly. If you can 1 hit the big ones you're good. I have +1 mobbing inner and hit 18 at a time. If I had stance it would be faster. That's where NW are superior.
NW is better IMO
too bad you missed the anniversary, couldve gotten a set or two of white gold stars and anniversary lv 100 equips that last till 150
anyways NW is better at bossing and training isnt that bad honestly people just exaggerate i got a NW to lvl 110+ in 3 days being completely unfunded in a new server, i used Subi stars until 100 then i picked up a set of white gold stars, and then did the CWK exchange quest to be able to buy a few sets of Tobi stars for like 10k a pop
of course godly end game gear is gonna run you up like 80bil+ but even unfunded they are better at bossing than TB
the only problem i have with NW and to an extent NL is that NW have like 3 skills and thats it
5star
the 1 mobbing skill and
some 3 second AoE bat swarm with a 30 second cooldown
Edit: if you are coming to khaini/broa i'll give you some sets of hwabis and Cilibis that are burning a hole in my inventory
I appreciate the help, it's nice to know that people are still helpful in the community. Too bad we've decided on Nova, but again I really appreciate the offer.
Xenons would not get buffed they have been nerfed from op to little less op. Definitely not getting buffes to op again. NW however are getting a nerf. However playing a NW lags ur pc because of the bats = chances of dc when bossing. I love xenons tho imo. Xenons have slightly less dps compared to TB. However still in favor of TBs again for the fact theres not many cause it requires 'skill' as you would say.
Xenons are getting buffed with attack speed and additional damage to bd. They were nerfed to some normality but starforce changed that
@GHSNinja: If he doesn't I'll gladly take them off your hands
OT: I haven't really played TB, but NW is one of my favorite classes right now. The mobbing is bad, but I hardly noticed that until fourth job. And even skill, you can use the third job mobbing skill and it works fine for me in DIPQ. In regards to the upcoming nerf; it doesn't really seem too bad unless you're highly funded.
@Sprouts: Any class up till level 140 is relatively easy to level unfunded. With that said, after the level 140 mark things tend to go south if you dont have decent funds as a NW.
In my opinion, I'd recommend you to just play what you want. But if you're looking at end game, it'll be easier as a TB rather than a NW
Play a Kaiser
Why would you consider changing mains when you're currently using the best job in the world. Zero.
NWs are just boring and unoriginal, the only reason why theres many NW players is because theyre op bossers but nerf bat is coming so really no point in picking them because theyre better unfunded anymore, you can freely pick the class thats more interesting and fun to you
I'm also considering Xenon since I've dabbled in them during release, how does Xenon compare to the 2? I also heard about the Xenon buff and of course the NW nerf.
why the hell is everyone talking about enjoyment and skill
NW>TB at bossing 100000000% biased opinion
Lmao, the person who said NW's are better at mobbing is drunk. TB's have some of the best mobbing in the game. Huge range and you can hit 16 mobs at once
how are you level 235 when literally all you do is sit on basil telling people to play what they like
Just a bit worried I won't do enough damage, since starting fresh is something alien to me. Other than that I'm probably leaning more to TB since they chain their skill which is reminiscent of my Zero and I guess you can say "takes skill" if there is such thing in MS.

TB: one of the most fun in the game
NW: dead ass the most boring class in the game
ur pick

Yeah the appeal of sharks over bats is very appealing, but I also have to answer my hidden dmg hoe. From the responses I'm guessing TB's are easier to train than NW's? I think the boring part would be 10-50 since we're planning to pq at 50.
@gGreg: Thunder Breaker for both. I played both and i found Tb to be more stronger and more fun.
Bossing on a NW is really easy unfunded compared to other classes--even at lower levels--but training is an absolute nightmare.
TB looks like a ton of fun. I think one of the hypers is a gigantic whale popping up?
Once you hit 105 you can farm Steelies and Hwabis in monster park. That roids stage.
I prefer Tb since it is waaay more fun than NW.
question: whats stronger and more fun, thunder breaker or hayato?
Once you hit 105 you can farm Steelies and Hwabis in monster park. That roids stage.
I prefer Tb since it is waaay more fun than NW.
